Outboard motor 2006 F75 Yamaha tlr won't try to start even when turning the key

Make sure your shifter cable isn't out of adjustment . It must be in true neutral position on the engine and not advanced out of position. All boats have a safety feature that either cuts power to the starter or the spark plug and fuel pump. There are is a little adjustment room on either end of the cable . If you are in sure disconnect the cable at the engine and move the leaver on the engine to neutral . Then try and start up. The other issue that is over looked is a bad kill switch on the shifter or a corroded and or loose battery wire at the battery or at the engine.

Hi my tilt on my out board is getting slower. but gets faster when i put up and down more than 5 times.

Sound like corrosion on tilt pin. Grease it or one day it will stuck and cost hundreds to remove and replace.

I have a 150 yamaha outboard 2 stroke, I pulled heads cleaned jackets and replaced cover gaskets and head gaskets and the right head is cooling and the left head is not

Something is blocking the water from entering the water jacket on the left side. You may have installed the gasket incorrectly or missed a blockage.

I bought a 2001 yamaha 150 2 stroke out board and there is no spark on two cylinders, I changed the coils and spark plugs still no spark, the other 4 are fine, what could be the problem

This is a lost spark system... The two holes share everything related to ignition including the pickup under the flywheel. Swap two of the pickup leads and see if the problem moves with the suspect pickup. Make sure all the spark plugs are removed, or you could cause pre detonation if the engine starts.

I have a 1997 yamaha 40 hp 2 stroke out board thats running out of fuel found that it has exhaust pressure at fuel pump pulse port instead of vacum what would cause this

Your fuel pump is connected to the block which experiences positive and negative pressure. As the piston moves up it sucks fuel and air into the block. As the piston moves down it builds up pressure in the block. This pressure is used to force the fuel air mixture into the inlet port of the cylinder. So what you think is exhaust pressure is a normal condition. Get a rebuild kit and rebuild your fuel pump.

Points gap on yamaha 3.5hp outboard engine

Safe rule of thumb is 2 loose leaf papers jammed between the points and one side of a cardboard cover for storing those pages between the magneto and the flywheel. Grew up poor and still use those trucks to this day.

My raised 150 Yamaha outboard tilt and trim was raised for a couple weeks and over time drifted back down. Any thoughts?

Most of those lift with a hydrolic piston. Seals might be going or need some more fluid.

Our 2001 115 Yamaha 2 stroke Outboard Boat Motor has a constant alarm after we run it for a while. The alarm will shut off after we slow down for a while but will start again after we go fast?

Check your fluids , next check the leg oil , then check to see if you got a good water stream... should be like a good pea stream and not spurtty. . If that is all good check your battery ... if they are problematic they will cause all kinds of problems. Lastly check to make sure the grounds are really tight at the engine and the battery. If they are starting to loosen the extra vibration will cause the alarm to chirp.
