Try removing a spark plug and make sure you are getting spark. If there is spark put a couple tablespoons of premixed fuel directly into the cylinder before putting the plug back in. It should fire right up, and hopefully will speed up the priming of the fuel system. Hope this is of some help to ya, good luck.

One cylinder may be starved for oil causing the noise your hearing.

Not enough information, but there are two things I didn't read about you checking. Make sure the fuel quick connection on the engine (and possibly the fuel tank) is locked all the way in first, Then see if your fuel pump is working. Disconnect the fuel line from the carb and, holding it in a gas can, have someone turn on the ignition. If It's an electric pump, it should start running fuel, if mechanical, they'll have to crank it a little to get fuel going. If you get plenty of fuel that way, your float in the carb could have gotten stuck, or something in the line got into it.

50:1 so 500ml of oil to 25 litres fuel or 100 ml for 5 lts

Need to hook up YDS diagnostics and check for codes first. Second you need to hook up a fuel pressure gauge on the motor and make sure your keeping steady fuel pressure. Did you check the grommet on top of the high pressure pump for a split in the rubber?

No, the gears in the lower unit are cut to rotate in the "other" direction... If the impeller were to rotate opposite - it would mean the engine had to run backwards... and that does not happen.

Google the weight of the stegecraft then the motor, I did this recently so I could work out the weight I would have on my trailer.

A f Few things to check would be >>>make sure the intake grate for the pump is clean and then remove the hood and make sure you are getting full throttle response bye checking the throttle linkage.

there should be a manufacturers plate attached to the hull of the boat with a number of passengers it can carry and the max hp motor allowed to be fitted talk with boat shops as they will know the approximate hp for each make of boat and length while it may be attractive to fit big hp motors to small boats , it in fact makes the boat less sea worthy and makes capsizing easier so get the advice right from the boat shops

try using a mold destroyer agent ( bleach, mold remover , chlorine etc from a hardware /paint shop) spray it in , let it sit for a few minutes then hose it out repeat in a few days as mold spores will regrow talk with a boat shop for other ideas

go to another dealership or marine shop that wants customers and ask them

Robert, First try new plugs, check fuel filter, sounds like it could be carburetor/injector issue, dirt,plugged jet, etc. Remove and clean/rebuild carb./injector. check the rubber drive connection to the pump ( wave runner )or prop if outboard

The start stays engaged the entire time? I would guess it's a bad ignition switch -- it would be sending power to the starter (through the solenoid) regardless of if you switched it off. Maybe it could be a bad starter, too. I'd start with the switch.
