Does yamaha make 2 stroke 90 hp outboard motors during in 2016-17-18
yamaha like all engine manufacturers are controlled by the EPA in the countries they are sold
In most countries the use by date has been established and 2018 is the end date that they can be sold with the start date being as early as 2015
So to comply with EPA requirements, yamaha would be allowed to sell off existing stock but the retail section ( local dealers ) would be restricted form selling them in certain countries
So to answer your question
No yamaha would not be making 2 strokes after 2015 as they could not sell them so any you see would be existing stock in dealers being sold off

What does 6.8 compression ratio m3an in kpa or psi on a 30d yamaha outboard motor
It means your engine's cylinder volume from the piston being at bottom dead center to top dead center divided by it's compression volume (the volume in just the cylinder head with the piston at TDC) equals 6.8, which is a very low compression ratio. It is not a measure of PSI. It's the ratio of how much the gas/air mixture is compressed before ignition. The engine is taking 6.8 units and compressing it into 1 unit before ignition - a ratio of 6.8 to 1.

No spark yamaha 115 v4 outboard
That can be a lot of things...
First off all, disconnect the wire plug to the remote control.
Crank the engine manually ( battery positive on the startermotor post ).
If now you have sparks, then the fault is in your remote control.
If still no sparks, you'll have trouble in the CDI, pulser coils or generator coils.

How do I repair the loose steering on my Yamaha 8 hp outboard?
Hello,
There is a 'brake' screw (with a spring around it) on the vertical tube under the engine.
Screw in the have a stiffer steering.
If it still don't stiff the steering, the system inside is worn out or bent.
You'll have to remove the 4 bolts holding both halves together and remove the complete engine from the steering bracket to get access for repairs.

Adjusting idle on 115 4 stroke Yamaha
There is NO idle speed control...
The idle speeds is automatically regulated by a valve system piloted by the ECU.
You have an eventually 'trolling speed setting' with electronic rev-counter.
