There is black mold (lots) in the undercarriage of my wave runner. How do I get rid if it - it's under the motor, very hard to get at ????

try using a mold destroyer agent ( bleach, mold remover , chlorine etc from a hardware /paint shop) spray it in , let it sit for a few minutes then hose it out repeat in a few days as mold spores will regrow talk with a boat shop for other ideas

I have a 2001 yamaha800xl and when I crank it up it will idle for about three seconds and then it will jump up to 7000 RPms without touching the throttle.

possible air leak at your cylinder base gasket or a crank seal.

My 1993 yamaha vxr pro 700 ,would bog down ocassionlly then speed back up ,rebuilt carb but didnt fix it.now it just bogs down if its in water at all !! could it be cdi/ignition coil ?

I have a 2000 yamaha 1200xlt i just purchased. It starts,idles, and runs ok but when I hit 9-10 mph the rpms race and it acts like you push the clutch in on a motorcycle. 10 mph is max any ideas?

check the rubber drive connection to the pump ( wave runner )or prop if outboard

Yamaha 1800 HO no codes acts like its overheating ,but its not, and goes into safe mode, switch off and start it goes good again then after a few minutes it does it again.

It Runs but has very little power,quits often,if you give it to much throttle it bogs down

Robert, First try new plugs, check fuel filter, sounds like it could be carburetor/injector issue, dirt,plugged jet, etc. Remove and clean/rebuild carb./injector. I have a 4 stroke yamaha 115. When I had it winterized marina said there was water in crank case. Refilled oil, ran for 15 mins, drained and no signs of water. Boat has a lot of drag and sprays.
