Usually colour problems like this are due to one of two things:1. poor connection at either end of the cable, or2. a damaged connecting cable between projector and computer.Check these first before getting the projector to a technician.

You are probably correct. This would mean that the DMD chip needs replacing and alignment of the new one.
I would get a quote from the service agent before they start the repair job.
