Reset timer toshiba 62hm116
I do not think failing to reset the Lamp Timer would cause the Lamp not to light. You need to get into the Factory Menu while the picture is on in order reset the Timer. I believe you have a Ballast issue either because the Power Supply is not powering the Ballast or the Ballast not Powering the Lamp. In either case, the only way to know is to have a professional to check it out and give a estimate for repair.

When i am recording from television and i turn
are you using AV jack to connect the recorder with TV for recording porpuse. if it's correct then it's simple, if recorder not gate inpute signal from TV, then it must show blank screen. coz it receiving the vedio signal from TV.

reset your diaplsy setting s to factory defaults.
also check your power supply waltage and earthing properly working
Connecting DVD Player
Connect the DVD player using the audio/video cable (yellow,red,white) to the input on the back of your tv. yellow cable to yellow input and so on
Unable to play back
Shouldn't matter what the OS (operating system) is. What you need to do is to make sure you convert the movie to proper format which would allow you to view on DVD player after burning. Usually you need a seperate software. Your DVD player should say what formats are compatible. Usually listed on unit or in manual. Avi is a great format but when you burned it to DVD your computer probably created a Data Disk. Which would make it unreadable by DVD player. Check to make sure you are able to convert to format that's readable by your player.Good Luck
