ok, feb1, old post installed what OS>? version. dialog box what box.? are you in BIOS or windows, if windows where are you? in CP+system? my guess is you did not load all the software drivers from the Toshiba web site. no say what where you got that disk? who made this disk or bought from.????? we cant read the top of your disk, and there are endless sources of disks now, mostly bad.(infected too)

You just got wireless turned on ? Does this mean you just added a wireless router to your existing wired network ? You may need to turn off the DCHP server in the wireless Router and give it a unique ip address eg if wired router is 192.168.0.1 then make wireless router 192.168.0.2 with gateway ip set as 192.168.0.1 then make wired dhcp router not lease out 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.20 make subnet mask the same also for each router.

i found screen red error on laptops by Virus guard problem, or video driver errors. therefore remove the video driver and restart.

mash f4, f8, f12... just mash all of the f keys as soon as you turn it on and it should come up.

Okay in some case windows 7 does not pick up the network drivers so you will need to download and install the network drivers for your laptop from another computer and then copy those files to a pen drive and then connect it to your laptop and install it, however I do see that your laptop driver support page does not support other OS other than windows XP32. What your describing is usually a video chip problem, if you had to send it in for repair under a recall or warranty issue, and it was repaired by Toshiba, then by all means contact them and seek further repair. Or you can also politely tell them that you would like them to replace the laptop with a similar model. I have worked with Toshiba as well as many other brands, and I have found that most if not all companies will be willing to " Make it right" for the consumer.

Try the ff:

1. Are you also using a wireless internet? If you are and you cannot also connect on wireless, make sure that the wireless is enabled on your laptop. On the left side of the laptop there is a on/off switch push the switch to on. (beside the usb port).

2. if it is already on, make sure that the bluetooth is enabled also, you can check it on control panel, system, hardware, device manager, bluetooth, right click on bluetooth driver, if you see enable bluetooth click on it, if you see"disable bluetooth" that means it is already enabled.

3. If the above is already configured, lastly, look for the bluetooth icon (bluetooth manager) on the lower part of the screen on the taskbar/tray if you see the bluetooth icon, right-click on it then click "Enable Bluetooth Radio". Now, if there is no bluetooth icon on the tray at the lower right of the screen, go to Start, Toshiba, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Settings, inside the Bluetooth SEttings, click on Bluetooth, Options, CLick on Enable Bluetooth Power, also, inside the Tray Icon (still inside Bluetooth Settings) select an icon so you can always see the status of your bluetooth on the Tray and you don;t need to do and check everything everytime you cannot connect via Bluetooth.
