other than that googling all week might work.
or pulling out all batteries
or shorting out 10 different magic solder pads on the motherboard, is sure way to brick it as seen on UTUBE.
also there are some laptops have back door,
hit enter 3 times see key code generated that may scalper sites online can decode and reset you password, $20 to $100 scalped.
Toshiba is very bad maker of PCs. they ended there direct help web forum site, and now tell all owners to go to toms hardware.
good luck with that, old PC.
what you need is full factory reset, for BIOS and windows.
both. and many PCs will not do that lacking help from maker.
for sure newer PCs are big time locked out (by Design)
but do ask at toms.
here is all the others asking the same thing, endless....

How do you reset a Toshiba laptop keyboard?
Shut down and restart your Toshiba laptop by pressing the power button. Immediately and repeatedly press the F12 key on your keyboard until the Boot Menu screen appears. Using your laptop's arrow keys, select "HDD Recovery" and press enter. From here, you will be asked if you want to proceed with the recovery.May 8, 2015

On a standard KB, it's a shifted apostrophe, maybe just left of the Enter key. But with a smart phone and some other android devices, you need to press the "numbers mode" button to see many of the characters.
LOST PW (again)
ok you can see there are 1000s of requests here from this act.
a 11 year old laptop, 2008 made.
99% go nowhere with this.
You asked here sure, because toshibe will not help nor do they have forum .
you can google for that model or youtube it.
did you first do that?>
this PC has
BIOS PW lock
HDD PW lock (hopeless this)
and the Kensington Lock finger print lock, lost a finger?
then windows lock. (login)
this is a hack (motherboard pad jumpered)
(redneckk)hacking can blow a board fuse and brick the PC
That was the correct location. My error was not leaving one memory stick installed. Held the screwdriver on the B500 points while powering and waited for it to turn itself off. Removed screwdriver from B500 points and powered it back on.
he shorts B500 pads and powers it on.
watch youtube yet?

Consult the projector user guide for setup and adjustment. Look for a "Default" or "Restore default" option. Otherwise, manually follow the steps. to square up the picture.
