Should have been a CR2016 THAT'S PROBABLY WHY ITS NOT WORKING YOU HAVE THE WRONG BATTERY IN IT!

Battery issue is my best guess, have it changed!

What would do is take it to a Walmart watch department they have batteries and can help you open the back. Assuming you can't open it

I wouldn't exactly call one minute per week fast, but it can be annoying to have to keep setting it. It could be your own chemistry that is causing this. It happens to some people. Is it a wind up?

Generally you have to open the watch to see the movement but a lot of fakes are plain workmanship flaws.
A real Cartier will not be made from base metal. It will be made from stainless steel or precious metal.
A real Cartier will most likely be built with screws in the band instead of cotter pins.
When you pull the crown to set there will be no play in the set lever. In other words when you spin it, it will begin to turn the hand immediately and there will be a slight resistance. It will not feel loose.
As stated, the best way to tell is to look at the movement. Cartier uses a high grade Swiss movement most likely marked ETA.

There is a process to make an all reset. After the reset try again. The user user manual can be downloaded from Timex. Make very sure the watch is absolutely flat and far from metal objects. Even being near most furniture can effect the reading because they can have metal springs. Many homes have a lot of metal in their construction. It's best to calibrate the compass out doors away from power wires or cars or anything metal. On the street you can have metal under the pavement.

If this does not work call Timex. There have been instances where the compass module or sensor had to be changed. I have the same watch. It's a very good one.

When you go through the set up you will see 12:00 flashing. Push the set button again and you will see 24:00 flashing, select this and move on and should be good Gabe Barrow, Barrow's Jewelers

i don't know. dollar stores may sell watch bands. watch retailer may charge to resize your band. store where you purchased it may have tools for easy fix at no charge. just take proof of purchase and watch.

How you correct time if you needed? Just do the same, but turn time forward or back 24 hour or more. Some watches have : pull half and then turn days directly.

Since Timex watches are very inexpensive, you can just go without that information or maybe buy a new watch. Having it fixed would probably cost more than a new one. The fact that these 2 functions do not work anymore would have no affect on the time the watch keeps. Steven
