To set the time and date, start at the base unit. Then press the Flash/Program until Set Day appears on the display. Press the Review or Next button to select the day of the week. Then press Flash/Program again until SetTime appears in the display. Type in the time (hour (two digits) then minute (again two digits)) with the keypad number buttons. Then press Review or Next to select AM/PM. Press Flash/Program to store the information.

Please note that if you have Caller ID, the time and day transmitted with the caller ID information from your phone company will override the day and time you have set.

I finally find a way to stop this problem from occuring : never leave your phone on the charger with the battery isnt empty !

I know this sucks because what best place to put your phone at night than its base. But try it and it will work (unless your battery is already damaged). In the morning when i go to work, I charge it for 8 hours, then when I come back, I take it off the charge until next morning.

Since I have been doing this, I didnt get any more problems with my phone.

My phone is making a lot of noise and static on in coming call so bad I can't talk. out going I can't make. I put in the number to dial call does not go through ,but I can hear the dial tone. do I need a new battery or is there something wrong with the phone itself.

Although it is shown for GE cordless phone but the item number and specifications are the same as you need. Costs below $9.00, including shipping in the US. In Mauritius, it may be a little more.

Press and hold the DAY/CHECK button(on the back of base unit) to set the day of the week. Press and hold the HOUR button(on the back of base unit) to set the hour. Press and release the MIN button(on the back of the base unit) to increment the minutes setting one minute at a time, press and hold the MIN button to increment five minutes at a time. I have included a link to where you can download the manual. Instructions for setting time and day are on page 20.
