Thermador CET366FS Cooktop. I need some instruction on how to replace the control module.

Thermador are top of the range appliances and they don't expect you to repair them yourself, you call for a service engineer. Service manuals are hard to come by. There is a service manual for a wall oven and the control panel may be similar. They look to have mounting clips. The buttons are proximity detectors, so not conductive. https://www.google.com/search?q=thermador+cet366fs+cooktop+service+manual+pdf They are made by Whirlpool so this might help. Wherever you got the board from should supply the instructions on the same way that Repair Clinic do. ..

Some of the control knobs on my Thermador Rangetop PCG366W sink all the way in so that you can't see the writing on the knob, is that normal? If not, is there a fix for it?

Burners Do Not Start Hand on burners The Burners Do Not Start There are several solutions for this problem: The main gas supply may not be turned on. Make sure it is turned on. Check the power supply and make sure the unit is plugged in and the circuit breaker has not tripped. Make sure the burners are properly positioned. The igniters may be dirty. Carefully wipe the igniters with a cotton swab dampened with water after they have cooled down. Gently scrape the soil off with a toothpick. Avoid exposing the igniters to excessive water as a damp igniter may not light up. Remove any lint that may remain after cleaning. The ignition will be quicker if a cooking pan is on the grate. Ignite the gas at full and once alight, turn it down to around 50%. It should lock on within 6 seconds. Does the burner click when the burner knob is in the ON position? If yes, you may have a wiring issue at the outlet that the appliance is connected to. Turn off the main gas supply and contact a qualified electrician to fix this. Does the burner click when the burner knob is in the OFF position? If yes, check for the following: 1. Check to see if the burner cap is properly placed and the igniter is not wet or dirty. 2. Check to see if the regulator supplied with the unit is installed properly. The arrow on the regulator should be pointing to the appliance. Please call a professional installer

Two electric burnings on thermador cooktop not working. Can they be repaired

Surface burners are typically either a coil type, solid type or a ribbon coil as used in smooth top ranges. All of these consist of a heating wire that uses electric current to produce heat. Coil type elements can be checked for continuity by removing them from the terminal block and testing them with a multi-meter.You should also inspect the terminal ends for signs of heat damage or corrosion, and if present, you should replace the terminal block or receptacle at the same time. You will need to remove power from the range to change the terminal block. Solid elements and smooth top elements require raising or removing the main top to gain access. You will need to remove power from the range before lifting the main top. Continuity can then be checked with a multi-meter, once you have removed the wires from the element terminals. On modern electronic control ranges, the oven temperature sensor is the part thatregulates the oven temperature. If it is not working properly it could be the reason why the range or oven won't start. This part can be found inside the oven on the rear wall near the top. Most modern ovens will display a fault code if the oven sensor is at fault. If you think the sensor may be the issue you can check the resistance with a multi-meterbut will need to know the correctresistance of the sensor at room temperature. Remove power from the appliance before performing this test. The infinite switch on the control panel controls the power to each surface element. If you have no heat at an element and the element and terminal block check ok, then you may have a defective infinite switch. Disconnect power to the range and remove the console back panel. Locate the switch and check foroverheated wires or faulty terminals first.Test the switch's contacts for continuity with a multi-meter. If defective, replace the switch.
  1. If the infinite switch does not appear to be defective, then you should check for proper voltage to the switch. This is a live high voltage test and should only be performed by qualified persons.(Locate the suspect switch for testing. Label all wires and terminals before disconnecting. A close up digital photo may be helpful.
  1. On the burner control switch the terminal labeled "P" leads to the burner indicator light. The terminals labeled "H1" and "H2" lead to the burner element and the terminals labeled "L1" and "L2" (sometimes "N1" and "N2") are the power supply wires.
  1. Set yourmultimeterto ohms setting x1. Turn the burner control to the highest temperature setting. Place one probe on pin "L1" and the second probe on pin "H1". The resistance measurement should be very low, zero to twenty ohms. If the test shows high or infinite resistance, the burner switch is defective.
  1. Repeat the step above for the terminals "L2" and "H2".
  1. If the control passes that test, turn the temperature setting to about the middle of the range and repeat the previous two steps. This will test for an intermittent problem with the switch. If the test does not show continuity with very low resistance, the switch should be replaced.
  1. With the switch turned to the "Off" position, the resistance on each of the pairs of terminals tested above should now show no continuity or a reading of infinite resistance.
  1. A test for continuity between "P" and "L1" when the burner control switch is on should show continuity. The light should be on whenever the control is turned on. If your test shows continuity, but the light does not operate, it is likely the bulb has failed.
If the burner switch shows high or infinite resistance, the switch is not passing along current to the burner and so the switch should be replaced. ) Most modern ovens usean electronic control board to control the oven functions. These models will use the control board to operate the oven safety valve on a gas range or oven, and the bake and broil elements on an electric range or oven. If there is no power to the igniter circuit, or the element circuits, then you should check the control board to verify that there is power at the appropriate output relay. These are live voltage checks and should be performed by qualified persons only. If there is no output voltage then the control should be replaced. element burner testing range element-short.2-undefined-undefined-0_3.gif element burner 0-undefined-undefined-2_1.jpg infinte switch_noheat_03-undefined-undefined-5_1.jpg infinite switchs stove-undefined-undefined-9_0.jpg

Bernzomatic ts 4000 flame adjustment

There is no adjustment on the ts4000. The ts8000 has the ability to adjust by turning the knob while depressed, however the ts4000 does not. If you use a hose with an in-line regulator between the cylinder and the torch that would give you the ability to adjust your flame. Make sure the hose and regulator used are suitable and rated accordingly.

Two burners on thermador cook top turn off by themselves

It is common for electric coils on a range top to click/on/off. They are suppose to reach a certain heating range and when satisfied, they go neutral and when the demand for heat is needed, they become energized again.

contact the service agent for the brand to see if a replacement glass is available in reality you are not required to replace the glass as glass breaks in normal use and is out of your control and in renters terms comes under fair wear and tear

Have a thermador psc364gdzs the spark does not work for the gridle

The spark module is in the ignition circuit for the gas burners. When a burner control knob is turned to the Lite position, it provides voltage to the spark electrodes on the gas burners. If the spark module fails to provide the electrodes with voltage, then it should be replaced.

I have the star burner model, w/ extra-low simmer.

Center burner won't light: If there is a bright spark (check all ignitor points at night with the lights out and look for consistent brightness of the sparks) then it's likely that the burner slots are dirty or the air/gas mix is wrong. If you can light with a match, but the spark won't light, then go for cleaning the entire burner assembly thoroughly with a brass bristle brush (available at most automotive stores). The proper air/gas mix has to flow over the spark to ignite. Weak spark, improper air/gas or misdirected gas flow that misses the spark can all cause this issue. RR burner lights only on low setting. Again, check the air gas mix and clean all parts. Something like a small spider web inside the air mix chamber (area between the orifice and the burner can cause this and is difficult to see. Disassemble, clean thoroughly, reassemble and test. Extra low simmer burners (two on the left side) use their own control module with electric gas valves and variable electric control switches. The burner works on low, so these are not likely the problem. Most folks want to find a bad part, and that can happen, but stove tops get dirty and cleaning usually helps. If not, you have a clean top to work on. The indicator lens and/or the retainer are either broken or the retainer is missing. It's best to replace these as they are not expensive. When the top is off while cleaning is an perfect time to replace the lens.

Pilot lock light on stove is on so stove burners unable to work

This sounds like you may have to fix a problem in the pilot area before it will work. These gas operated devices have to meet a much higher safety standard than their electric counterparts. It is a built- in safety feature. Now, look for any obstruction or crimp in the gas line. My guess is you are not getting proper gas flow or pressure or the pilot could be physically blocked.
