Yes battery is 394 I prefer seiko batteries, take photos of each stage with phone. You can unscrew slightly left hand side of contact when I say left hand side that s with number 12 always on top even when watch is face down to protect watch face place on tea towel also remove plastic casing, it can only go back one way. I have done my sons watch, but can not get the wheel turning

NEVER attempt to replace a battery on a diving watch yourself. It will break the seal.
You will need to send back to Technomarine or take to a registered Technomarine service center.

I had the same problem. I pulled the crown to the 3rd position, furthest out, and pressed the A and B button simultaneously. The second hand made a complete rotation and set at the 8 position, where it had been settting, then I was able to push the A button and reset the second hand to the 12 position. Tested it and it is working fine.

take it back for a warranty inspection it could be a simple flat battery
