Shredder suddenly runs only in reverse

Sounds like the sensor/switch that detects when the basket is full of clippings is stuck in the "full" position. UNPLUG this potential finger-eater and poke around on the underside with a pencil or something.

Executive EPS-1501 X Shredder automatic sensor doesn't turn off

Do not use any aerosol based or petroleum based products in your shredder as this could cause a fire. I personally work with Fellowes brand shredders, but it sounds like you have a paper feed sensor issue. This may be a mechanical or electronic sensor located in the center of the paper feed slot. If it is electronic it may just need cleaning(qtip dipped in rubbing alchohol. If it is a mechanical sensor check to make sure it has not been broken or it may be stuck because of paper that has become wedged behind it(you may need to jiggle the switch a few times to free it). If none of this works you may have a burned out switch or a bad pc1.gif board, contact manufacturer for more info.

Solution Manual Theory Of Plasticity Chakrabarty

Plasticity is concerned with the mechanics of materials deformed beyond their elastic limit. A strong knowledge of plasticity is essential for engineers dealing with a wide range of engineering problems, such as those encountered in the forming of metals, the design of pressure vessels, the mechanics of impact, civil and structural engineering, as well as the understanding of fatigue and the economical design of structures.

How do I get the ts4500 apart

After you remove the six screws around the edges of the plastic frame, you need to find the 7th and remove it too. Mine was "hidden" directly beneath the label (a piece of adhesive backed paper) with the serial number on it. I was ready to give up and throw mine away, but my brother-in-law felt a slight indentation beneath the label. We removed it, and sure enough, there was a seventh screw holding it in place. After that, repair was easy.

The ability to think logically and creatively

Techs should be able to apply a consistent, logical methodology to the resolution of computer problems. This means that even when confronted with new situation, the tech will stand a good chance of being able to resolve the problem, or at least isolate the problem area. To back up their logical thinking, techs also must be able tomake creative leaps in reasoning when the application of logic fails to produce a satisfactory resolution

Do you sell the safety interlock switch for the TS4500, model no. PS-067/B?

The missing flap pin activates the safety switch. You can bypass the safety switch (not recommended for safety reasons) and gain operation.

Need wiring diagram/info for Tech Solutions TS2550 Paper Shredder

Hi,
Thank you so very much for going into so much detail about my shredder that wouldn't pull paper thru it. You were SO NICE to do all that & I sincerely wish I could send you a picture of the wiring. HOWEVER, I threw it away months ago when I got no answer to my problem. Guess I'm not patient enough :-) I sincerely appreciate your reply and wish that I could help you out. If I still had it, I'd just mail it to you :-)

Broken prong at one end of safety interlock switch (plastic plate)must replace

Just in case someone comes across this in the future looking for an answer like I did. I jerry-rigged a solution to keep my Tech Solution TS-4500 going as I'm in the midst of a major shred job. Here's how I jerry-rigged a replacement pin for the flap: 1) I straightened a coated paperclip. 2) Wrapped the two ends together in duct tape, fitted to the size of the insert on the top of the shredder that the pin goes into. 3) Snipped off the excess paper clip at the opposite end of jerry-rigged pin, so there isn't more metal inside the shredder than necessary. (Leave enough to attach to the flap [See next step].) 4) Duct-taped the paperclip to the flap to keep it in the correct position. 5) Inserted the hard plastic pin into its slot and then the jerry-rigged pin into its slot. The flap is able to swing up and down, and I've had no problems using the machine and the machine has had no problems knowing when it's full and auto-stopping. broken-prong-one-end-safety-interlock-05h4c4shtltj2fqfroebdvnp-1-0.jpg

Safety Interlock "Switch"

This is not the safety interlock switch. This flat bar keeps shredder paper from backfilling into the cutters. The safety interlock switch is a vertical slot on the body that a tab on the top fits into.
