That sounds to me like a sensor has either broken or is misplaced inside of the scale itself. I don't think repair/repossitioning it, is an option.

I received my scale and my first weight reading was really wrong. What happened?

The scale may need to be initialized. This process is necessary because the scale was moved during the shipping process. Initializing the scale "re-seats" the internal parts allowing the scale to find the correct "zero." Here is how to initialize your scale:

1. Place the scale back on a hard surface floor.
2. With one foot only, place just enough weight on the scale for the display shows zero's or dashes. Once you see zeros or dashes remove your foot.
3. Wait for the scale to turn off again.
4. Step up onto the scale for a weight.

Or, your scale may be on an uneven surface or on carpet. Be sure to place your scale on a hard, flat surface to get an accurate weighing.

Remove the battery and replace it with a new, FRESH CR2032 lithium battery. Make sure the polarity is correct and it is properly seated.

Step 1 Step lightly on the scale until it displays "--", "0000" and turns off if you receive the error "ERR0," which means the scale is not initialized. Initialization must occur after each battery installation. Step 2 Set the scale on a flat, even surface, not on surfaces such as carpet if you receive an error "ERR1." Step 3 Step off the scale and wait for it to reset before stepping on it again if you receive an "ERR2," which often means the unit was jarred or overloaded. Also, if you weigh more than the maximum weight capacity you will receive this error. Step 4 Remove your shoes and socks and wet your feet slightly with a damp cloth if you receive the "ERR3" error. ERR3 is a contact error and your feet should ideally be bare and wet to achieve an accurate body-fat reading. Step 5 Step off the scale and wait for it reset. Remove your shoes and socks and wet your feet slightly if you receive either the "ERR4" or "ERR5" errors, which means your body-fat or body measurements are out of range. Step 6 Reset the scale if it doesn't work or you continue to receive error messages. Remove the battery and set the scale on a flat surface. Stand still on the scale for five seconds and step off. Re-install the battery and place the scale back on the flat surface. Place one foot on the scale until it displays zeros or dashes. Remove your foot and wait for the scale to turn off. That looks like ab INCREDIBLY long number for a model number. It looks like model and serial joined. Calibration is factory done and can't be done at home. You have to use a Government certified weight and they are very expensive. If you need scales recalibrated, I don't know who does that work in your area. I would check with where you bought them to find out if the work can be done.

Check below your battery some times there is a button you can change from lbs to kil if not it might be a touch screen you will have to tap the touch screen till the part you want to change like setting your mobile phone or alarm clock but I think you might find it has the button behind the battery hope this is some help
