All astronomical telescopes show the image upside down. For terrestrial use, you need a erect image prism.

Cheaper binoculars may have no adjustment means for this at all (it is called "collimation"). Properly it should be done by adjusting the front lens in its seat, and quality binoculars have an eccentric ring around the lens under the clamp ring so that can be done. But what do you do when there is no CF value but you can read EX value?

1. Get Stellarium or another fine astronomy program
2. During the day, point the telescope at a part of the landscape about 100 yards away.
3. Use the lowest power eyepiece (highest number) in the focal tube.
4. Center the landscape object in the telescope.
5. Align the finder scope so that it points exactly where the main telescope is.
6. At night, leave the scope out to reach thermal equilibrium (about an hour for small reflectors and refractors)
7. If the scope is on a EQ mount, polar align.
8. Point the finder at the moon. The moon should be in the main scope also.
9. Practice finding the moon before you start on the planets
10. Once you are comfortable with the moon and planets, you can go for the deep sky objects

What is the calibre and velocity and target species as the zero distance could be 50-200 yards depending on what you are shooting most of my rifles are set to 100yards except for the nitro express Which is zeroed for 55 yrds and the 17 wildcat which is 200 yards It all depends on the range you will be shooting most

More than good enough. Game the size of deer is routinely taken with open sights on a rifle. The scope you have is more than adequate.

Tasco is a low end scope maker. They are fine for plinking and hunting if cost is your primary consideration.

It appears it was made in Japan. No word on the factory that produced them.
