Blue star Dx unit e2 alarm how to rectify
The Blue Star DX Unit E2 alarm is an error code that indicates a problem with the discharge temperature sensor. Here are some steps you can take to try and rectify the issue:
- Turn off the DX unit and disconnect the power supply to the unit.
- Check the wiring and connections of the discharge temperature sensor. Make sure the connections are tight and the wiring is not damaged or frayed.
- Clean the discharge temperature sensor. Remove any dirt, dust, or debris that may have accumulated on the sensor, as this can interfere with its readings.
- Check the sensor's resistance. Use a multimeter to check the resistance of the sensor. If the resistance is too high or too low, this may indicate a faulty sensor that needs to be replaced.
- Replace the sensor. If the sensor is faulty, replace it with a new one that is compatible with the Blue Star DX unit.
- Reset the unit. Once you have rectified the issue, reset the DX unit and see if the error code clears.
If you are unable to rectify the issue, or if the error code persists, it may be best to contact a qualified technician or Blue Star customer service for further assistance.
Compressor GA45 with electronic on shut down
IF the 24 v fuse burns there is a short to ground or direct short to itself, I use transformers 75 VA with circuit breaker built in. better than replacing fuses to locate problem.
Bad electric fireplace thermostat??
I worry about the power strip. Any electrical load is bad news for power bars. Significant fire hazard. (Think like a space heater under a desk... The load of the heater will overload the power bar over time.)
Plug directly into a wall outlet and test again.
If you are forced to using an extension cord, it MUST be heavier than the power cord to the fireplace model.

What BTU do the gas burners output on a Five Star TTN316-BW
I need a hood fan with proper cfm
Thanks
Full-size open VariFlame burners in front with standard open rear burners
VariFlame burners allow heat to go from a high of 14,000 BTU all the way down to a slow simmer at 400 BTU on open burner models.
BUT, any hood will suffice. The more money you spend, the greater the CFM and the more style bells and whistles. Also realise the more CFM, the more noise you get. My cheap 2 speed hood is only ever used on low power. Also if you vent to outside, you don't need as much power.
