I have never been so
Hi Don,
You sound frustrated. Can't blame you. I've just been searching the internet and it seems no one has them.
My suggestion: Measure the dust bag attachment hole and go to a store that carries shop vacs. See if another brand's 4 gal size will fit.
I have bought ShopVac bags and generic bags for mine (which isn't a ShopVac brand) and they fit fine.
Good luck,
Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,
Handie Andie
I have plaster walls in
Your stud finder keeps beeping because old plaster walls have lath boards behind the plaster that are attached to the studs and running horizontally. Try adjusting the sensitivity of the stud finder by placing it on the wall and turning the sensitivity down until it just stops beeping. Then move it back and forth in a wide enough arc to be sure that you have crossed a stud, turning up the sensitivity ever so slightly until you get a tone when you cross a stud. Hope this works out for you.
How do I snap off
The safest way is to put on safety glasses, extend the blade to just beyond the next line, grip the blade with a pair of pliers at the line with the edge of the pliers parallel to the line and give the pliers a twist. The blade will break off cleanly.
Nail stuck in the tip
The owners manual should have instructions for freeing a jam. Nomally removing the two allen bolt in the front cover them the two bolts that hold the guide plate will allow access to the plunger and the jam.
MY STANLEY 61804 DOES NOT PUMP. THE PUMP HANDLE
