Sta-Rite 400 Pool Heater. It shows code 337. The heater is working fine but starts itself when pump goes on.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to correct category. There is a video in the link that promises the codes, but it might be clickbait and an empty promise. https://www.google.com/search?q=Sta-Rite+400+code+337 ..

My sta rite ignites and runs for a few minutes and shuts off and repeatedly reignites. My pool water is only 63 degrees. If I turn the temp up to 90 degrees, it will run continuously. No service light

Try changing the Thermal Regulator. You could just remove the T/R as a test and replace as necessary.

Check the control wire that might be connected to the control fuse. If that wire is open the unit will only cycle thru the board information and the sit dormant until the control is called for.

We have a SR200 NA Sta-Rite heater on our pool. We just replaced the thermistor today. Now the digital temperature readout keeps jumping back & forth between 91 & 104. (water temp. was only ab

That unit has specific instructions for water temp operation at 60 or lower. The display also can show diagnostic info and there are indicator lights for diagnostics. Do you have any of those showing any errors? If the temp is jumping from 91 to 104 instantly and then back down to 91 instantly, this is a wiring issue or a bad thermistor. Check the wiring and use an OHM meter to check the thermistor, it should have a chart that shows a resistance at a certain temp. There is a limit switch right next to the thermistor, Make sure it is not shorting out with that.

Sta rite SR200LP Heater will not fire. Your answer was “bad flame sensor “. Where is the flame sensor or what part is it? Is it the same ignitor?

Sears runs a resource called Parts;sDirect, you can get parts for appliances, tools, lawn equipment, etc.
Need the model and serial #, it'll have exploded views of the different subsections. All.parts on the exploded views are numbered & correspond to a catalog page alongside the picture, with the cost
posted. I've used it repeatedly, very accurate, prices are competitive.

I have a sta-rite inground pool heater Therm-max

You should not have any gas at the union until the heater tries to fire. The Air Flow Switch circuit should have 24 volts at the switch and should be tested. If the voltage is not correct then more trouble shooting will need to be done.

Get several codes , when i turn it on all the lights come on and display has a 888, then a 180. all goes off, receive a code sf 1, then an r4

Check your stack flu sensor. Sensor can not be jumped. As soon as the heater fires hold down the pool or spa button until the stack temp appears. At 500 degrees the heater will shut off giving a code. The heater should not restart. I would also check for wire damage based on the description of your issue and the board restarting on it own. You may also have damage to the "user interface board" , hard to say with out on site trouble shooting.

SR333LP pool heater continuously cycles ON/OFF, the fan stays on

The age and over all condition of the heater would help. Try removing the Thermal Reg and see if it smooths out. If the heater responds, replace the Thermal Reg with a new one.

My sta rite will not shut off, it runs all the time, the pool temp is up to 98, i have already replaced the Thermistor. The digital read out on the heater says its on 33 while its actually 98,

I would replace the user interface board. I am assuming you have a Maxithurm heater. The thermister is sending info to the temp comtrol on the user interface. A model would help me to be more accurate.

How to clean impeler on sta rite

Not sure you should do this, what are the deposits you are trying to clean off? If they are hard deposits like minerals then medium blasting with a material like ground walnut shells will clean it up.

What causes my 2000 Buick lesabre to stall while drive.

first thing I would check is you should check for spark next the fuel filter, take it off shake it and dump out the contents if its dirty, this could be the problem, also you can place your ear against the car and cycle the ignition switch you should hear a buzz, this is the fuel pump running, it only runs for about 5 seconds, unless the car is running.

I changed the key pad, membrane and control board. when i start the pool and press the spa on button, i dont have power. What should I do from there?

Check the control fuse in the metal box inside the heater. Also make sure you have power to the heater, if heater is connected to an automation system make sure it is calling for heat. Make sure the fireman switch is in tact.
