Bose Redline day in and day out, twice on Sunday. Spectrum RS232's are "Flea Market" quality speakers. If you really want to spend money on speakers go to a "Boutique"! I hope this is helpful.

Equilizer

I need more information to help you. The equalizer has to go in between two devices to have an effect.

Like this:
  • Multiple units' (CD Player, Tuner, Cassette, etc.) OUTPUTS to Pre-amplifier INPUTs
  • Pre-Amp OUTPUT to Equalizer INPUT
  • Equalizer OUTPUT to Amplifier INPUT
If you don't have a separate Pre-Amp, you have to try something else. Re-post if this is the case...

I have a home technical

Hello there,
Having the mixer hooked up with the equalizer is quite simple. It is the same process as connecting other mixers to receivers. Here are pictures of how to hook up the mixer to the receiver.
Also, here are links to a receiver and a mixers manual, follow the process there to hook them up:
mixer: http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/pa/english/mixers/mg82cx_en_om.pdf
Receiver: http://www.eu.onkyo.com/dl/1334040/M...07_English.pdf

Hi i have a kenwood

Does the receiver have a model number? THAT is the center of all this and will dictate the connections. Be advised, if it is a digital multichannel receiver ONLY analog 2-channel program material wll pass through it the attached devices. If you activate the Tape Loop either external processor is on it will disable any digital sources. Such is the common limitation of having digital capability.

Generally, OUTs go to INs. If there is a PHONO input don't use it for anything but a turntable.

Manuals are better at this than having us re-invent them. Seek them out by using a common search engine to find the manufacturer's website or these guys...

HOW DO I CONNECT A

Be advised that the engagement of any device in a Tape Monitor loop on a late-model Audio/Video Receiver will effectively tie the receiver down to stereo-only analog sound reproduction. I'll explain.

The connections themselves are fairly simple but it pays to understand what happens in the loop.

In general, any Line-Level external processor (EQ, dynamic range expander, etc) will go into a Tape Monitor loop on a receiver. A Tape Monitor, when engaged, sends the stereo analog signal Out to the Processor, massages it and returns it to the receiver via the Tape Monitor IN connectors to be passed on to the receiver's internal processes (volume, tone, whatever).

Old school analog stereo-only receivers consistently work this way. Newer digital and audio/video receivers introduce a couple of problems: 1) digital sound processing to simulate a variety of soundfields; 2) multiple output channels, either discrete or digitally-generated.

The latter requires that whatever signal is being processed experiences a maximum of one analog-digital-analog conversion.

EVERYTHING analog coming into the modern digital receiver is automatically converted to a digital signal for internal processing unless you choose a STEREO-only or STEREO-Direct setting. Consequently, no further external analog-digital conversions would be allowed if, say, a Tape Monitor circuit was activated, and a possible feedback loop could otherwise be created in a digital-sourced selection (output to its own input), so the unit is wired to treat the Tape Monitor as the first analog step in the process and defeats any pure digital sources.

In a multichannel unit, what would happen to the other channels if you sent ONLY the Front Left & Right out for processing? They would NOT be processed. That logical problem also plays into the decision to defeat digital sources if the Tape Monitor is activated. I don't totally agree with the engineers but that's the way it is. Nature of the digital beast.

My roadking rk4000 wont charge. I turn it off to charge it but there is no indicator light at all, any suggestions?

Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first. But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. If these suggestions don't work, you may try the manufacturer's customer support.
