Did you try changing the batteries in the remote for brand new ones fresh out of the packet?

Did you count the rerror codes before plunging in and changing things I wonder.

The fuse should be solder in but replacing it won't fix anything, your going to have other blown components as the fuse never blows for no reason, first thing I'd do is test the full wave rectifier and go from there

1. buy the service manual yet?
2. get a real shop TV to fix it?
3. what to look for in this complex mess really? well lots.
4. all DC supply rails not just 2.
5. Screen dead make sure LED back lamps have DC power.
6. does flash light pointed to screen show data/??????

8. its not just dead clicker battery is it?
9. this tv uses 167watts of power old is it? 2010 made. 12 years old it is. but is LED back lamp'ed I think.
10. connect DVD deck player via HDMI and put in DVD and push play on deck and hear sound now?????????? hummmmm

16. and vastly more , any board that kills power DC or data then the screen goes dead.

I would replace the neon and repair the fault. Possibly blue gun has failed.

The front and back pieces are like a clam shell and are compression fit with tabs into one another. You need to use something like a guitar pick or spudger to separate the pieces. Dont use metal objects due to damage that will happen to the plastic .

MY opinion, no. You may get the volume or something else random to work. But the codes and Infared signals are specific not only to brand but to model as well, hence the codes for universal remotes. I would drop the 8 bucks on a universal remote and get something that will work and not frustrate you.

Depends on the system in use where you live. Sateliite, terrestrial, cable etc.

This is not something for the average person to do. You need to be able to use a soldering iron. You need to be able to look at parts on a circuit board and identify them You have to order the parts and remove the old ones and install the new ones.

Save you time and money on a tcon board. Chances are it's not defective, you have a bad panel, this has been a common issue on this model TV, will be intermittent with horizontal lines, unfortunately it'd not fixable. You can take the frame off and try moving around the connectors going from the panel board to the panel and see if that makes it have the horizontal issues, sometimes some glue can be applied for a temp fix.

It might work but the resolution may be an issue for your old TV.

I'd look at bad LED backlights
