Wont read disc
Hello there...
Sony seems a choosy brand so it looks like your disc is not recognized by it. Check also your disc for scratches or you just need to clean your disc first before you can use it. Try it. If this doesn't help, try inserting your disc to other CD-ROM. See if your disc is okay. Hope this helps...

Dvd drive wont recognize disc
There are a number of possibllities for this problem:
1. Your drive may be dirty. Try to get a drive cleaner, run it then try again
2. The disc itself is faulty. Try using it on another computer's drive and see if you can read it
3. It is a region-specific DVD. Some movies can only be played on DVD's made for that region. Although you can change your DVD's region to be able to read that DVD, you will then not be able to read DVD's for your current region. The recommendation here is to buy a multi-region DVD player. You do not need to get the top of the line model as these players can be quite cheap.

I am looking for multi zone crack for Pioneer BDC-TD04 (Sony Vaio laptop) Blu Ray drive, suggestions?
DVD REGION FREE & BLUE-RAY REGION FREETo changethe Region code on your DVD player, open Control Panel - System - Hardware -Device manager, and click on DVD/CD ROM drives, then right click on the DVDdrive and click Properties then click on DVD Region. You can enter a new region and it also shows you how many changes have beenmade.NOTE you can make only 4 changes and the player will lock permanently on the4th change. If you want to play DVDs from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmwareto make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrongfirmware the player will be a piece of junk. The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece ofsoftware (Passkey for DVD) that allows you to play DVDs from any region andPasskey for Blu-ray that allows you to play Blu-rays from any region. There areseveral available on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From: -

My Sony player won't eject either a or b
The push-button activates a small motor that turns a small rubber belt/ band that opens the cassette door. Since it's not been used for 10 yrs, I would say these belts would have deteriorated and broken. you will need to replace them. the best bet is to open it up and check. if its the case, you should be able to source the belts on ebay.

Cant play blu-rays on lcd hdtv connected with hdmi
The software playing the bluray disc (PowerDVD) will only play it on the primary display. You will have to set your tv to be your primary display in order to watch the movie.
This only happens with bluray and HD-DVD discs.

Sony VAIO vgatz750p has problems plating video.
You probably need more ram memory. Also try playing a video in your dvd player. If it plays slow and choppy you definitely need more ram memory. If you are trying to play a video from a website (streaming) then three things can affect how smooth it plays.1) Memory - your ram memory might be low2) The website might be experience heavy traffic from many users.3) The Line Speed of your internet connection from your service provider might be slow. For example: AT&T sells about 3 or 4 different packages and each one increases the line speed for uploading or downloading. If you buy the low end package the line speed is very slow on uploading and downloading or streaming. It's ok for just surfing, but nothing else.
Sony vaio VGN-T170P model not install audio
It looks like the current driver for your particular model is still the original version, which is dated 20-Oct-2004. In my experience, audio drivers almost always need to be obtained from the manufacturer -- Sony, in this case.
Click the link at the end of this text to go directly to the driver download page for your model -- this is Sony's eSupport, a user-friendly and sophisticated site. The drivers are grouped into categories and "Audio" is the first one. Click the + and you should see 1 driver available -- download it with the green arrow (when prompted by windows, click RUN... unless you want to save it). Assuming the installation completes successfully, Vaio audio drivers usually enable sound output without requiring you to reboot. But just follow the prompts.
Drivers are here:

Here is the home page that is specific for your model of Vaio; this is the page you want to bookmark or add to Favorites:
