Simer a5500 motor keeps running when no water in pit

Check the float for proper operation, chances are it’s stuck in a position that’s calling for the system to be on (as if there’s water in the basket) or its failed.

Pump was running fine until pool water reached 30C

That does not appear to be that hot. The reset can be automatic or manual depending on the motor used. That information would be in the manual or if it is a manual reset it would be the red button on the motor. Be sure you have power to the pump first. The 30C may just be a concidance.

I have a Simer 2305 and the pump will run but does not when the water is low?

Pumps such as the Simer 2305 do not pump water totally down to ground level. They are designed so they do not suck up debris , sediment, etc, which can clog and ruin the pump. So if your pump leaves an inch or so of water, that is normal.

Corrosion in submersible pumps

As long as the fluid is not corrosive to the pump material, the fluid pH is 8.5 to 9, and the pump is always submerged, corrosion will not happen. What's your problem regarding hydraulic loading? are you getting less than what is designed?Seal leak is caused by worn shaft, corroded shaft, worn seal material, seal material not compatible with the fluid, and wobbling shaft due to defective bearings.

Hi are the impeller pumps sutable for food like Honey for pumping Food grade

For honey you want a slow turning or piston type pump so it won't aerate the flow. As for food grade, stainless steel with proper seals, any style pump is normal. Can use other materials, even cast, but need to keep it rust free. Most water used to be pumped with cast iron impellers and nobody got sick because of it.

This system does not have an alarm. The accessory alarm is something else. Check it's sensor and make sure it didn't get knocked into the pit.

Mark II The unit ran

I don't have too much advice for you. The pump only draws 6 amps and most breakers are 15 amps or more. There is also a thermal overload that if the pump gets hot it will open the circuit, preventing the circuit breaker from opening.
Did the pump actually short? Maybe it is finished. How old is it?

I have a deep well pump I thought was broken.

It could simply be the foot valve or a faulty check valve causing water to feed pack down the drop pipe and triggering the pump switch. I suggest you replace the check valve.

Shallow well and deep well

Do you have a check valve installed? If not, your water will be flowing back down the well and taking the prime with it.
