On a Sharp AR-201, the developer light comes on when 50,000 pages have been made since the technician (or factory,) last changed the developer substance and reset the counter. A tech should come out with a Preventative Maintenance kit because training is needed to remove the developer substance safely as well as to clean the optics, interior and inspect the fixing unit, drum and cleaning blade and vacuum out the copier. You should call for service and tell them the developer light is on so they know to bring a kit. And yes... I am factory trained on this model. Retired now.

For me, it works when I switch the second switch on the top from right to left ( Arrow up5/4 arrow down. I write the word arrow, because I do not know how to type an arrow, but in the calculator is an actual arrow on the switch. I hope this helps.

The polygon mirror motor had a bad integrated ciruit on the board that failed. A later generation used a different chip and a bigger capacitor and did not fail. The later generation ones are widely available as pulls for about 12$ in china and 20-40$ in the usa. Take apart your LSU and read the model number off the back of the mirror motor board and do a search on ebay. I sold about 100 of these motors in the past 10 years but stopped stocking them. The old part number was MASQ0DF9RU on the back of the board which specified the voltage and RPMs, the newer ones can be identified by a round surface mount capacitor on the front and have a slightly different part number. They are usually available by the Ricoh part number G029-1961 both domestically and overseas

You don't. According to the Sharp MX-3110N user manual, there is no Simulation 50-22 EXECUTE option available. You can try running a halftone calibration 44-27 followed by a full calibration 46-74. If that fails, you may have to consult a professional technician.
First portion of your problem seems to be caused by Printer Cartridge. Second portion seems the fault is in the scanner.
