Blank screen with a line.

I have the same, assume the watch battery is gone. Handbook says the whole timer has to go to a dealer to replace the battery.. the printer batteries are easily replacable, I wonder why they made the watch battery such a costly deal?

Seiko Stop Watch S149

If you go to "www.sportscounters.com/seiko-s149-stopwatch-printer-all-in-one" you will see a telephone number, try calling them for advice.

(This problem is fairly common after replacing batteries, so I suspect that there is a procedure for resetting the timer.)

Charge indicator on my Seiko Kinetic watch does not work. Watch keeps good time. Is there a fix?

Bill, when you say "does not work" I am going to guess you mean that the second hand does not sweep as it should, so you do not have an accurate indication of remaining capacitor charge. There are many other malfunctions of the Indicator on a Seiko Kinetic but I am guessing that is your current watches malfunction. The button at 2 o'clock depresses a tiny lever inside the watch, and that in turn releases a discharge from the capacitor. The strength of that discharge swings the indicator. The lever itself is very very small, and can be misaligned, very commonly after capacitor replacement. Actual breakage of the lever is quite rare. Does the button have a definite detente when you press it? Or is it instead like pushing on Jello. Is the button spring loaded such that it returns to the neutral state on its own? It is actually a quick diagnosis for anyone familiar with Kinetics; as a quick peek will tell if a broken lever, absent button gasket, need of lubricant, etc.

My watch runs too fast: adds appr. 1 minute every

That is way too fast for a Seiko Kinetic. There is no adjustment to slow it down. With time of course it might run slower as the gears get dirty. Maybe Seiko will replace the movement, worth asking

Seiko NE78a mechanical automatic chronograph - On the Min. subdial, the hand resets to 59 instead of 00. How can it be calibrated to reset to 00?

By a watch repairman. The nut that tightens the hand to the shaft has loosened enough to allow the hand to slip slightly.

Hi, got a seiko 7T92, the stopwatch second hand, can this be made to work as a second hand or is it only for the stopwatch function, it's annoying that it's still all the time!

If you can have both clocks running at same time, yes but they'll be on different screens. you just have to go back and forth between screens.
