Does anyone know how to disconnect the lint sensors on this unit? It won't dry my clothes.

They may, but probably won't due to liability issues. Disconnecting the lint sensors would be like taking the battery out a smoke detector. It's only a matter of time before you get burned....

What is the best way to remove the lint from the lint filter compartment?

This would indicate you have a lint build up somewhere in your exhaust system. The best way is to disassemble the unit and completely clean the unit. Also remove the exhaust hose and make certain it is clear all the way through and that the exit door is not blocked closed or plugged inside. I normally do this annually and then use a long brush to clean monthly to maintain a safe, functioning unit.

Why does my sears kenmore washer empty the water immediaely after it fills.

Washer fills with water then drains: The critical question is. Is the water is just running down the drain but the pump isn't running. If it is being pumped out, and you can hear the pump running just the same as when it's emptying prior to spin then it could be aborting the wash because it is, or it thinks it's overheating. ( due to defective water temperature switch) If the pump is failing to shut off then there is something wrong with the electronics. If your washer is a mechanical timer controlled device then you may have a sticking switch (which may explain if switching cycles does something for you). But if you have an electronic timer then you may be experiencing a board failure, where a cycle is being commanded when it is not intended to by design. If water isn't being pumped out, but just draining away all the time, the washer will keep detecting there isn't enough water inside and top up with more. Modern washing machines should be sophisticated enough to realize something's wrong and abort with an error, but if not, it may continue washing or rinsing for a short while before losing enough water to trigger more coming in again. It can get stuck on this cycle indefinitely and it's called siphoning. Siphoning occurs when the end of the drain hose is lower than the level of the water inside the washing machine. Try raising the hose and see what happens. Also the drain hose should have some type of air gap where it fits into the stand pipe. It should not have an air tight fit. Again Either it's siphoning down the drain due to an issue with the plumbing, it's overfilling, or also if it ( THE WATER) overheats then in some machines the software will employ a fill and drain tactic to cool down the water. The important thing is to work out which of these different faults is causing the problem by careful observation. Other switch's to check would be the water inlet valve and the water pressure switch with a multi meter for continuity or OHMS.

How do I know the door switch is bad

If light stays on when fully closed, door switch needs replacement, easily removed. Short term fix, disconnect the switch and tape the two spades together. Warning! Dryer will run even with door open.

How do i find the year of my sears washer

Your Kenmore is a Whirlpool. Therefore, you need the serial number to determine the year. The second digit in the serial number is the year code. You can find the lookup table here: Determining the Age of Your Whirlpool Appliance

Kenmore elite washer - interior light wont turn off

sounds like the door switch. put a piece of tape or something on the switch and close the door and see if taking the slack out of the switch makes it start. Or, hold the switch in while pushing start. DO NOT put any body part inside dryer when doing this.. If this works the switch needs some adjusting.. how to do that I do not know. May be a bad switch, I just replaced mine on a kenmore other week. Maybe repairclinic.com could help ya.. have model number ready when you go to the site and look at the possible reasons. Hope this helps.

WHY DOESNT SEARS 110 91512210 WASHER NOT FILL ?

You may have a bad or blocked check valve inside the drain diaphragm. I've had this. It's a pretty simple fix. Drain all water you can. Unplug. Remove back. Look for the diaphragm which will have two hoses connected. Remove hoses and connectors. Look inside for debris. That's what mine had. If you don't find any try flushing water through in both directions. If you can then the valve is bad. Replace diaphragm. Good luck.

Want to find out why my washing machine is leaking water

It is most likely the water pump on the washing machine. Check the hot and cold hose and make sure there are round gaskets on the inside of them and that they are tight on the hot and cold valves. Also check the drain hose that it doesn't have any holes in it and that the hose is far enough down into the drain . If all that's ok, it's your water pump.
