Garage door remote won't open the garage door
The little button with a padlock on the wall control is a "vacation" lockout feature that
disables the remotes. There should be a small LED on the wall control
that is always on steady. When the padlock button is pressed and
released the LED should be constantly blinking (indicating the vacation
lockout mode is active) and your remotes should be disabled. The wall
control will still operate the door. Pushing the padlock button again
should make the LED stop blinking and restore the door to normal
operation.

What about on the opener it self do you have lights in it? it really can only be two things I can think of. with otu seeing it One guy said check you wires. I would say tahts a great place to start I would unplug the wall control wires. Sometimes not too much with newer openers but if they got a staple in the wire it can cause a dead short. When you unplug the wire from the open it's self. Try it. If that does not work try plugging in something to the plug where the open is at. And make sure its not on a switch. Oh one last thing when you use it remote or wall control do it make any sound at all?

1.Check to see if the door is running correctly.
A. Run the door down and pull the emergency release. See if the door will run easily by itself.
1. If it runs hard by hand try lubricating the rollers and hinges with silicone spray or some form of lubricant (not WD 40)
2. If the door is heavy and falls back to the ground, you probably have a spring issue (either broken or needs more tension) in this case call a professional door repair company in your area.
B. If the door runs fine then check the up force on your operator (the box that hangs from the ceiling and reads Craftsman). If the light(s) on your operator go from front and/or back, the force adjustment screw is on the back of the operator. If the lights are on the sides of the operator then the force adjustment screw is on the right side (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door). Turn the light blue adjustment screw with the up arrow to a higher number.
