Use the "Code search" on the remote

Try doing a reset on the tv. Follow the instructions below

POWER CYCLE RESET:
Unplug the power cord and wait 10-15 minutes (extremely important, I used a timer set for 16 minutes just to be sure).
While it is still unplugged, press and hold the [POWER] button for at LEAST 30 SECONDS - DO NOT RELEASE!

most lcd/led tv,s the front panel is the display you can try polishing the screen with very fine abrasive like jewelers rouge or your local car dealer sell plastic polish to remove scratches from plastic headlamp lenses if not its a new display a new tv is poss a better option. i have used silver polish to rejuvinate car headlamp lenses to good effect
