Samsung Dishwashers - Page 9 - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
No power
Hi,
The main PSU is part of the control board. You may be lucky to find an aged fuse to replace, but it's more likely a power transistor that's fried.
Unplug and remove the control board to see which bit's toasted. Chances are it's cheaper to replace the control board - but check the probable cause - the motors are not short circuited.
Dishwasher starts and then stops with 9E flashing in window.
The 9E issue indicates a low water level in the dishwasher. Check your hoses. Make sure that no dishes flipped and filled with water. Make sure that the dishwasher is level. Next check if there is any debris blocking the water level (overflow) sensor. It's in a small square plastic box on the left side of the dishwasher. Pull the dishwasher forward and check for loose or damaged wires to the water level sensor.
If the wiring is good and the error persists, replace the sensor. Replace the wiring if it is damaged. If you add a comment with the model number, I may be able to point you to the replacement part. If your dishwasher is under warranty, contact Samsung for the repair.
I hope this helps.

Does anyone know how much it costs to fix a samsung dishwasher that shows e3 code? Is it a big fault or simple fix?
you may have a problem on the draining system. Previous cycle not fully drained and holding off the new cycle.
remove the drain line from its discharge position and hook up a 5 gal container for it to drain in ( maintaining the necessary height for the anti syphon loop )
Select programme 7 which should allow the drain pump to kick in straight away
You should be able to hear the pump running at the bottom of the machine and observe a discharge from the hose.
The chances are the pump needs removing and cleaning.
or - the drain line where the machine discharges is backing up and not allowing a free discharge.
