How do I turn off flash

In the shooting mode, select the lightning bolt icon to bring up the flash menu. For full details, see the "Shooting in the dark" section of the manual (page 43 in my copy). If you need a manual you may download a copy here.

Can I download software? I am on a trip. The disk is at home.

You don't need any special software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a Samsung TL100 camera and it will not take a charge

If you haven't used it for the last 8 months and before it was all fine then the most common reason would be the battery. Your battery is absolutely dead but then again if you plug it to AC then it must show some sign of life. But give it a go by replacing new battery. To check get it from a friend and then test the camera on it. If the battery replacement doesn't work then take it to an authorized dealer for inspection.

My computer running XP Media edition 2005 won't

Hi there. Try this.
Turn your computer off. Unplug the camera from the computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure the camera is off and when you have rebooted, connect the usb cable to the computer. Make sure your not using a usb hub.
Turn your camera on and go to my computer. See if it's listed in your drives.
Let me know if this helps with a comment. If it does help, feel free to rate my answer, and thanks for coming to FixYa.

My computer can't read the camera and i don't have card reader

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTERIf your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

My camera wont stay on

That sounds like your battery could be dead/not hold a charge. If you've charged your battery already and your camera still won't stay off and turns off right away, it's time to purchase a new battery for your Samsung TL105.

You can purchase replacement batteries quite cheap here:

Why my ST50 Samsung camera cannot work even after

It could be a lens error or battery already malfunctioning. Do you get any error message or any message at all before it turns off?
