I have a Salter 9007 bathroom scale. It stopped working so I bought replacement lithium batteries and installed them

Do you still have the manual with the troubleshooting section in it? It looks like this is an overload condiiton or an indicator that something is not right. The manual can help you to sort this out.

My Salter digital scales have stopped working. They are new. It may have hot damp so put a new battery in - but still nothing. I have pressed the OFF button but nothing happens. Any ideas? TIA

My salter kitchen scale 1008 is dropping weight. eg. I put something on it that weighs 456g and it weighs it to begin with then starts dropping weight. It goes the opposite weigh with heavier stuff?
