clean and adjust sensors

Determine the source of the overheating warning before serious engine damage is done. The dash sensor for the brightness control may be failing.

Have a look at the body control module to see if it's working properly.

Take your negative part of the battery and disconnect it for like 10mins.. connect it back together and that should reset the light.. now if it comes back on have the code checked to see what your problem is cause regardless of performance, it won't pass smog
