You are an *******....Just to be blunt....This person is asking how to cook the rice to water ration in the rival 6 cup rice cooker and that ratio is like other ways to cook rice, which you are completely wrong about maybe you should take some lessons on how to cook. Its 1 PART RICE TO 2 PARTS WATER....NOT EQUAL, and in the cooker its 2 cups rice and 4 cups water makes a perfect pot!

If that is your problem I've been told you can order replacement gaskets from Rival, about $6/set 1-800-557-4825 and $8 shipping, so may want to stock up (prices were quoted from 2012). this part is not listed in the seal-a-meal website, only available by calling.
