JVM error 102
There is an issue with one or more of the
.cod files on the BlackBerry smartphone.To resolve this issue, perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry® Device Software on the BlackBerry smartphone using the application loader tool.
To perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5 and 4.6, perform the following steps:
- Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Double-click Application Loader.
- Click Add/Remove Applications.
- Type your BlackBerry smartphone password and click OK.
- Select the check boxes next to the names of the applications you want to load.
- Click Settings, and then select the check boxes beside Delete all application data and Erase all currently installed applications.
- Click OK.
- Click Next > Finish.
- When the process has completed, the message The loading operation was successful will appear. Click Main Menu to return to BlackBerry Desktop
Charging problem
try using a different charger. if another charger works then it is probably a bad cable.
How can i reset my blackberry playbook
To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps.
- Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry smartphone
- Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds
- Replace the battery cover.
To perform a soft reset, complete the following steps.
- Press and hold the Alt key (1)
- While holding down the Alt key, press and hold the Right Shift key (2)
- With both of those buttons still pressed, press the Backspace/Delete key (3)

To fully remove data from a BlackBerry smartphone, you will need to perform a security wipe
To initiate a security wipe, complete the following steps:
- On the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options from the home screen.
- Select Security Settings, then Security Wipe.
- Specify what items will be wiped during this process by checking off the boxes.
- Enter "blackberry" (field is not case-sensitive) and select Wipe.
- The BlackBerry smartphone will reset a few times, and after this process is complete, it will no longer contain any of your personal data.

Hold down the volume up key, volume down key, and power button at the same time and hold it for about 15 seconds. TIP: Its easier if you hit the volume up key then the volume down key and then the power key
Why does my blackberry playbook not connect to the internet
Try going to the picture of the "cog" (settings) in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Then, select WiFi. Make sure you are connected to the proper server. It should turn green with the tethering arrows showing. If it is already green and you have selected the proper server, select it again anyway. Or, on the screen, tap on the wiFi symbol and select ON. Good luck!!!
