Air compressor won't cut off after it reaches max psi

Most pressure cut off switches have an adjustment screw on them where you can dial in the cut off/turn on pressures. Take a look and see if you have the adjustment screws. If you have the switch model, you can try looking up online to see how to make these adjustments.

I have a power system plus model no.1106C 2HP 120V 4.6 gal twin stack air compressor 90/126 PSI when it comes up to pressure and shuts off the pop off valve will not close and releases the pressure

Pop off valve? If it is the unloader valve that is venting the air, the discharge check valve is leaking and has to be replaced.

Looking for parts list for my Everstart jump starter with 120 psi compressor and power station from wallmart, i do believe the model number is J45TKE. The air pump quit pumping air!

Jump starters are usually imported generic items label engineered without much of a spare parts service. You might be lucky if you approach the supplier but most likely not. You could try repairing the compressor. They are quite simple and might even only need a squirt of WD-40 to make the valves work again and the piston to start pumping. In spite of there being no lubrication system they usually give good service and would need extensive use before they wear out. Compressing humid air would create a little water which would provide a little lubrication...

My TS056CK staple gun releases a small amount of air pressure. Compressor is set at 90 psi and the brad gun works fine. Any ideas?

Check to see if a staple is jammed. Please, disconnect first! Also make sure they are loaded the right direction. If not, they will not come out.

My central pnuematic 3gal. 100 psi 1/3 running mp air compressor stop running, what could the problem be?

Let it cool down and see if it will restart. The brushes could be worn. Tap the motor while pressing the start button. If it goes, then that is what the problem is.

I have a Mikita MAC2400 air compressor that recently stopped working correctly--it cannot build pressure over 40psi and the motor continues to run non-stop.

This could possibly be, you have some water from condensation buildup inside the tank, liquid does not compress. Before this next step make sure the tank is to 0 psi! Now, there should be a relief valve Wingnut on the bottom. Loosen the wing nut and drain as needed. Then retighten the wingnut (Do not overtighten). Plug the compressor in and try it. My second suggestion is, the psi adjustment pressure knob could be faulty replace as needed!

Just bought a Hyundai HHC2GNK nailer, and the nails jam seemingly every second nail. Very frustrating! Any hints on how to solve this problem?

Assuming the nailer is in good order the problem is likely with the nails - the type, style, quality of nail you are using might not suit the nailer. Some nails are poorly made and although I haven't personally measured them I suspect some nails purporting to be a particular gauge are either under or over the size. If they are imported, for instance, from a country using the metric system, they will probably be produced from sheet steel of a convenient metric dimension that is a near equivalent size, but not an exact match - 1.2 mm sheet is a tad smaller than 18 gauge while 1.3 mm is midway between 17 and 18 gauge. Just a theory you understand. Some nailers will be a little more roomy than others, especially those that have been worn in. In addition it is equally possible the nailer was designed for metric nails but exporting to a country where metric nails would be unobtainable the manufacturer specifies a near equivalent, sometimes opting for the higher number and sometimes for the lower number - we see this a lot with imported clothes and shoes.

Just bought the 10 gal 125 psi oiled up started takes awhile to fully air up feel air leaking from top of head is that normal

Probably exhaust air and most smaller compressors seem to take forever to fully charge. But would take back and have them give you new one to check if there is a difference.

I have a 1000 PSI 1/3 horse 3 gal Central pneumatic air compressor and someone has cut the cord and taken the fuse. Can you tell me how to repair it? Thank you in advance.

It should be easy to replace the cord and fuse, or simply bypass the fuse. However, I would not recommend doing that. The only reason that I can think of for removing the wire and fuse is to prevent someone from using the compressor. A hundred pounds per square inch of pressure can cause a pressure vessel that is corroded or defective to fail explosively, which could injure someone nearby. Unless you are trained to test pressure vessels and have the proper equipment, it would be dangerous to attempt to use this device. Harbor Freight sells brand new ones for $49.95. Why take a chance on repairing this unknown and possibly dangerous compressor?
