Kitchen price pfister with spray
If you will look .....first thing would be a good idea to turn water cufoffs under the counter to off position....then remove handle,to do this there should be a set screw (hexagonal screw) on the bottom side of handle lever a heagonal wrench will be needed to remove handle...... Now that you have the handle off you can turn the cold side of the cutoff on or the hot side to find out which one is leaking hot or cold .......if indeed it is a washer ( rubber cup) that is leaking.......hope this helps...
How do I replace the flange on the side sprayer?
The hose that goes to the Sprayer has to be disconnected under the sink at the main connection there, then it can be pulled up and out of the top of sink. the you can unscrew the nut under the sink on the flange and remove and replace.
Avalon cartridge faucet handle sticking
I would try replacing the cartridge. Handle has a set screw (probably an allen head) There should be a retaining nut holding the cartridge in. Unscrew it and pull the old cartridge out. You might have to pull pretty hard.
I have a One handle Price Pfister Kitchen Faucet
Hi,
The passageways in the diverter part of the faucet are very small and can get dirt stuck in them....the diverter is a plunger like piece that will slide and stop the faucet when it senses flow from the sprayer...
The only hope of cleaning this out is to do this...
Take off the supply tubes or pipes at the hot and cold supplies... then blow compressed air....a air compressor with 100 psi air and a blow gun works best...backwards through the hose and out the supply tubes....this should blow out any built up dirt in there and get the passageway open again...you also could try to open the faucet valves... take the aerator off the spout and try to blow through there also... just in case there is build up in there also...

Check that your shutoff valves are open.
Also, it often happens that debris gets dislodged and blocks the valve.

You have to take it apart, clean everything, replace the upper and lower "O" rings, and lube before putting it back together. You can often get the parts for free, due to lifetime warranty.
Furthermore, you may be able to have Price Pfister send you what you need, except the lube. Go for full cartridge, if you call them. You would prefer to only take it apart once. They are happy to ship to you for free, usually.

My best guess is that debris from your water system has gotten into the faucet and is restricting the flow. This is a very common occurrence when replacing a faucet in an existing system. One very important step that most people overlook is to flush the lines before hooking them to the new faucet.
I am assuming that you have stops on the water supply beneath the sink, and if you did not replace the connecting lines from the stops to the faucet, you should do that now and I recommend the new flexible lines. Simply hook up the new flexible lines to the stops and direct the other end into a container and slowly turn on the stop to run water through and flush out any remaining debris that may be floating around in the system. This is especially critical for the hot water line,it is the usual culprit. Make doubly sure plenty of water is passing through these lines because the clog could also be in the stop itself.
With this type of faucet, you may have to remove it from the counter to unclog it, but if you have compressed air available, with the supply lines removed from the faucet, simply turn the faucet on to the center wide open position and blow air backward through the faucet and chances are good that the clog will dislodge. Then re-install the faucet, hook up the lines and you should be back in business.
If after doing this the flow is still restricted, either it is still clogged or you may actually have a defective unit. In that case, contact Price Pfister customer service, their number should be located in the instruction sheet. They are excellent in standing behind their products.

Pop up arm assembly for Price Pfister 972-062
I agree with you on the design. What I would do is just go to hardware store and get a new pop up assembly. You can get a good quality pop-up for around $15.00 thats made of brass. Good luck and thanks.

Hi,
The best thing I have found to do, is to un hook the hose from the bottom of the hot water valve...
Open the valve and then try to blow compressed air backwards through the valve...if there is dirt lodged in ther that should blow it out...and... if you can get air through then you know that it is open and water should flow through...
If air backs through, but no water will come out then the faucet is defective...

I have a price pfister pull out kitchen sink 533
There is a restriction in the valve or the stop from supply is restricted, check stop at sink to make sure it is opened all the way,if it is then turn off water supply disconnect hot water to faucet take container open valve slowly to see if it is restricted,if that is open and water flow is good. Then it is in the faucet you must then disassemble hot side cartridge and see if there is some type of blockage if none visible the with hot side disassembled slowly open valve to see if you can flush out any foreign matter (note the way it is disassembled so you can reinstall exactly how if was taken out to avoid any reassembly problems).

Sounds like you have sediment in the water lines. You should be able to remove the cap at the end of the faucet where the water comes out and clean the screen. At the end of the faucet is a cap that screws off. Behind it will be a strainer/screen that you can wash out. Hope this helps you.
