dry rubber "O" ring/ threads on the shaft call a plumber to pull it apart , replace the seal and lubricate it

most aerators are screwed into the faucet IF you use a pair of multigrips with clothe folded in the jaws , you can apply gentle pressure and turn it out too much pressure and you will distort the aerator so be gentle with it

water is supposed to come out of your faucet...in a controlled fashion....if its at the handle....remove the handle and locate the source....tighten the packing gland or replace a seal. if it sprays all crazy at the spout...try unscrewing the little piece on the tip of the spout (aerator)....flush your faucet by running the water with it off...then flush out the screen on the aerator and re-attach it...hope I was some help....good luck and always know where and how to turn your house water supply off before working on any pressure points on your water supply system.

are you speaking of water hammer ? as typically this occurs when shutting off water , faucets that make noise like a whistle when on could be a part clogged aerator in the end of it , this happens over time and debris is aloud to collect in end of faucet

there may be garbage in the strainer. unscrew the strainer where the water comes out and check the screen inside there. it could have a partial blockage

this is a common problem its normally the copper piping inside the walls are not secured to the beams well enough and it causes water hammer in the lines...
if its only just started doing it recently you may get away with cleaning out your taps or replacing them but alot of the time you cant do much about it as the pipes are concealled in the walls

Trough is the shape of the spout delivering water. As in a water trough. Open on top

If I understand your question, it could be as simple as switching the supply lines.

If your handle is loose on the actual stem, then look for a small logo or blue/red "dot" at the base of the handle. Remove that and underneath that there should be a set screw that you can tighten.

You may need to replace the cartridge(s) or rubber washers on the valve stems. Depends on what model faucet you have.

If I am not mistaken, the stems are specific to hot or cold. They turn in opposite directions. Someone may have put a hot stem instead of cold when doing a prior repair.

I had the same problem. I simply removed the small brass fitting that the water supply screws onto.i removed the screen that is inside the brass fitting. Now the pressure is fine.

Replace the cartridge or washer.

You have probably replaced your diverter valve by now. I purchased a new valve for about $14.00. It took me about 30 minutes of swearing under the sink to replace it. See instructions on the Price Pfister web site. See the video about cleaning the diverter valve.
