it will print from some phones but theres no colors and it wont pair with my phone

It probably is the file type you are sending in. Try converting it into a .jpg. If i send a .tiff in, i get the same message.

Hi! You will need a converter cable that has a 25 pin male connector and a 15 female connector to connect to the laptop. This may not be easy to find but there surely is. Try visiting some computer surplus parts store. THey may have what we are looking for, they always do. Hope this helps and have a good one!

The two devices are probably overloading the USB power. The total power output on one hub in the computer is limited to 500mA. If they work separately, this is most likely the problem. The way to fix this is to purchase an inexpensive powered USB hub (it will have a power supply to plug into the hub as well as the USB cable to the computer).

Try 6000, that's the default.

Try connecting your printer directly to the wifi router/switch in a shared network configuration. Then go to your router settings, find the local ip address add this as the 'host'. Your settings should be as follows:


Driver : HP Mobile Printing
Bearer: Socket/HP Jetdirect
Access Piont: My Home Wifi (kaba)
Host : ip address of you printer
user : Blank ( tried my windows username,no use)
port : 9100
Printer Model: Officejet Printers

You will have to reconfigure your drivers on your pc as well. Mine installed as a wireless shared printer even though the printer is not wireless but I have it connected to my wifi switch for sharing and it worked fine.
