How to connect with mobile PHILIPS MODEL NO DSP 3300
This music system is a basic setup so your choices are limited. You could try using a cable connection. The type you need is a "phono jack plug" to "3.5mm jack plug" cable. They are usually very cheap and most TV and Technology Stores will keep them in stock. The cable has different styles of connector at each end. One end is the same as the round red and white plugs at the top of the photograph and the other end is a standard headphones connector. Plug the red and white pair into an 'Audio In' position on the back of the system and the other end into the headphone hole on your mobile phone. (Try the position above the two already in the system). Select the channel on the system for that connector and press play on your mobile device.>
I have a philips hts6510
hi,
Normally a dvd player shows the message NO DISC when,
1. The disc inserted is bad.
2 The lase pickup unit inside the dvd lost its reading intensity, dirty lens or the spindle motor damaged .
In your case the second one happened. the intensity of the laser pickup unit has lost or the spindle motor faulty or there is some dust on its lens. just insert a cleaning cd in it for two or three times. then check again is the DVD is reading or not
if the problem remains then you have to check the motor and the laser pickup unit. the lase pickup unit have two laser emitter and receiver in its inside . one for reading and playing DVDs and the other for CD and MP3. also the spindle motor runs in different speed when u insert dvd and cd.
Open the cover of your dvd player and power it on insert an audio cd and watch is it reading or not also notice the speed of the spindling of the cd. if the audio cd reads and play. then the possible problem is the spindle motor
To conform it remove the audio cd and insert a dvd. watch the rotation of the dvd. if it feel very hard to rotate it then, the spindle motor is damaged. if so replace the spindle motor if it runs more the the speed of than audio cd then the laser pickup unit is faulty. Then u have to replace the laser pickup unit.
if you need any further assistance from me , feel free to contact me through fixya.

How do I organize my music?
Right click on the music file while it is displayed on the Windows Media Player window - click on "Advanced Tag Editor" - you will be able to change the genre and several other pieces of information.

All downloaded music is "unknown" artist, title etc.
Hey, I am not sure about ubunta but in Windows, you need a program that "tags" the MP3. Just google MP3 tag editor and you will find some programs that do this. Again, not sure about ubunta but give it a shot. What this program does is let you edit the MP3 to the fullest. Song title, artist, album, everything...Check it out....
How to download music ?
pirating music is against the law and can get you into serious trouble, please use one of the many online music purchasing services available such as itunes and amazon music.
Good luck and have fun!
DRM
Thge SA6045 does not support DRM protected files. If you are downloading these files from the internet, then you'll have to look elsewhere for files.
If you are ripping your own CDs to .MP3 or .WMA with Windows Media Player, then you need to change a setting in Windows Media Player.
Open Windows Media Player. If visible, click on "Tools" then options. If the menus are not visible, right-click at the top of the Media Player Window, then select "Tools" and click options.
Click on the "Rip CD" or "Rip Music" tab (depending on version).
Remove the tick from the box next to "Copy Protect Music" (or similar)
This will stop DRM protection on any further tracks ripped.
You will need to rip any DRM tracks again.
Media engine error! DRM License
These songs must have been purchased online. Itunes, or many online MP3 stores do this to prevent piracy. The songs can only be played on the PC that purchased them. Either buy the music from a DRM free site or find a DRM ripper, which maybe illegal in some locations.
DRM not supported
This player definitely supports drm, but there are different versions of drm. I would first check the songs that you have downloaded to make sure they did not have "temporary" licenses with a fixed end date. You can do this by right clicking on an individual song, clicking on properties, and selecting the "license," "digital rights mgmt" or "media usage rights" tab - the wording varies by configuration. It will give you info on the license.
To fix this problem, you will need to convert those non-supported DRM files to Mp3 files using Mp3 conversion software.

Drm
DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. It is used to protect purchased & downloaded tracks. Most Philips MP3 players are not compatible with DRM tracks.
If you are ripping your CDs with Windows Media Player, click on Tools -----> Options. Click the Rip Music tab (varies from version to version) and make sure the Copy Protect box is un-ticked.
I have loaded 116 songs onto an MP3 player but
sounds like the music you put on it is full of DRM. You can either rip the music off the original cd to mp3 and not include DRM. Or you can request a non DRM version download from where you downloaded it to begin with.
My philips gogear mp3 player won't play my music
Hello Friend,
Your player does not support copyright protected music.
To avoid this error, you can:
- Download music which is not subject to copyright protection.
- Deselect the option Copy protect music and click OK before you start ripping music from CD.
