Describe beeter you problem. Just guess, maybe the origin of your sync is wrong. It syncs just what it gets.

MP3 players have a delete option or connect it through USB to computers, as removable device and delete files you don't need

Did yo verify if battery is chaged? Guess it has some kind of manual for basic operation, like turning it on. Try downloading the songs into another simliar MP3. If it does not work means that the file format is really not supported. What you can do is to Google Free MP3 convertor.

you can download i tunes which you pay for the music or download limewire hope this helps

if you have security on your computer ,its probably blocking some files or if its working fine change the usb is maybe broken

Hi I have found a manual for you here: http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa4vbe04kn_12/sa4vbe04kn_12_dfu_eng.pdf It gives the details of the battery(page 24 of the manual) and on page 5 of the manual gives a series of diagrams showing the dismantling of the player to get at the battery. Obviously it must be replaced by one exactly like it to deliver the necessary power and fit in the space available. The manual is in Adobe Acrobat Reader format so can be saved to your computer for future reference. Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya Cheers

Turn the Vibe on and then connect it to your desktop/laptop computer using the USB cable. It will be recognized by the computer as a removable drive. Transfer (copy/paste) mp3 music files from your computer to the Vibe. Disconnect the Vibe from the computer (the proper way to do it is to highlight it in your Windows Explorer, right click on it with your mouse and from the menu that pops up select 'Eject' or 'Disconnect'. After that, you can physically remove the Vibe from your computer). Using the controls on the Vibe, select any of the mp3 files you just transferred and play it. You can go through the same process with photos and videos.

Probably it does not have Wi-Fi capability built in.

Open the Philips Device Manager (Start à All Programs à Philips Digital Audio Player à SAXXX à Philips Device Manager) and click on the “Repair” tab. Then click on the “Repair” button to start the repair process. Most of the time, when your player is in that state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged in. If this is the case: Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.

The best way is when you can connect the mp3 with a USB cord to have a 'drive' show up on the computer. Now; it is simply a matter of copying the desired material. Some players have their own software to do this.

May need to update firmware which can be done using Songbird. In Songbird if your unit is showing click on you units name. In the main window click on Tools there will be a list of options. First try to update the firmware. current version as to date (10-15-2014) is 2.12 If you already have it skip. DO NOT DO FORMAT unless you want to lose absolutely everything music videos programming of unit. Instead do the restore.device. Also on the bottom of the unit is a reset button. This also will erase anything you added but not the programming.

First you need to charge it completely. Once charged disconnect it should remain on at this point. If not press and hole the on/off/lock button for about 3-5 seconds. If still not working return for replacement. or contact Philips about the issue. You have very limited warranty of 3 months on the unit.

In songbird bring up your video(s) you want to add. Select then drag and drop to the Vibe list. Songbird will place it in the correct format and place it in the correct spot on your Vibe. do not use suggested programs they are junk windows Media player does not support proper formatting. and soft29.com you will have a bunch of adware and and other bloat ware included. Stay with songbird for proper format and transfer.
