Want to do the repair on the PS? Then get out your unsoldering tool and unsolder all the suspected parts, caps, diodes, resistors, relays, etc., making notes of where they came from and noting polarities. Then whip out your test gear and start working. Replace any and all defective parts as you come to them. If you have any IC's on the board you are sh-- out of luck - you replace if you are successful at getting the old one out. Still wanna repair? Good luck to you.
Psst - you send it out for repair and the dude is gonna replace the board - trust me.

just like crt tv units, plasma are old technology
besides that they use enormous amounts of power and are now a waste of time in repairing
If you leave it powered on , that is alright as the main destroyer of electronics is the constant on/off operation as the temp changes of the components is the problem
However knowing that it uses probably 100 times more power than a led unit, , you are having problems with it and knowing the price of parts , I would recommend considering a newer more economical unit of a quality brand
Panasonic 42 inch plasma wont turn on. red light blinks 10 times
I unpluged mine and the light was still blinking when it was unpluged. I thought that was weird. So I pluged it back in and just heald the power button in untill the light went out. It went out within ten seconds. I pushed the power button again and the tv went on. WOOHOO!!! Just needed reset, I guess.

hi look for any swollen capacitors, also plasma's do suffer from poor solder joints on the power board, so check for any rings around the solder pads, test the voltages on the white connectors with a meter the voltages will be written along the connector,thanks
