A fax is retained in memory until printed (excluding memory limits). Given the failure to print and the continued "fax in memory" message, I suggest you try the photocopy feature of this device. If you try to copy something, it should force the printing of the fax. The same thing can happen if you run out of paper. If the fax does not matter and you can't find instructions on how to clear fax memory, unplugging the device should clear the fax memory.

You have not identified an error code. If the problem is the fuser, the following procedure should reset it. If the related error code reappears, you need a new fuser. The error code for that is E04-1.

• Press the "function + Orig.size + 3" buttons at the same time once.
• Then press F9 ram initialize.
• Then press LBP FUSER RESET.

Clean them with electrical contact spray cleaner. Switch off, use the spray, work the buttons, spray again and leave a couple of hours to dry. If that doesn't work, you have to get underneath the buttons and clean the contact surface. If the lamp usage time has passed 2 000 hours (when LAMP POWER has been set to NORMAL), the projector will switch to standby mode after approximately 10 minutes of operation. The resetting procedure should thus be completed within 10 minutes.

1. Insert the power cord plug into the wall outlet and then

press the MAIN POWER switch.

2. Press the POWER button so that a picture is projected onto

the screen.

3. Press the MENU button to display the menu screen, and

then press the F or G button to select the OPTION menu.

4. Press the ENTER button, and then press the F or G button

to select LAMP RUNTIME.

5. Press and hold the ENTER button for approximately

3 seconds. The confirmation screen, "LAMP RUNTIME

RESET." is displayed and select OK.

6. Turn off the power.

This will reset the cumulative usage time for the lamp
unit to zero.
