When performing a hard reset on the Palm Centro, you hold down the power button as you insert the battery, and then release the power button when you see the second Palm logo.

I was tring all the possible ways to resolve the issue. At last got a solution for my problem. Hope this will work for you all. Download the "OutlookConduitUpdater.zip" and install. This will resolve the calender "do nothing" while sync.

Answers on Chapura PocketMirror errors, Chapura maintains a really good database of fixes for errors with their PocketMirror Outlook PIM conduits. Copied from the site: First, make sure you are running the latest version of PocketMirror version 3.1.7. To check which version you are currently running, please see Chapura FAQ PM089. If you are still receiving the same error after installing the latest version of PocketMirror then continue with the following steps. If Option 1 does not resolve the issue, then move onto Option 2 and so on: Option 1: Run the Outlook 2000/2002/2003 "Detect and Repair" utility (You will need the Office/Outlook CD-ROM). 1. In Outlook click "Help/Detect and Repair". 2. After the repair is complete, reboot your computer and synchronize your handheld. Option 2: If you are running Windows XP and this error is occurring, please perform the steps in Chapura FAQ PM198. Option 3: If this OLE error occurs ONLY when synchronizing with Outlook closed, then please see Chapura FAQ PM053 "Outlook Backup Add-in causes HotSync failure when Outlook is closed." You will either have to remember it or factory reset the device and start again with no data.

Please follow the below steps to remove password on device:
1. Press the Home button on device.
2. Tap on Security icon.
3. Tap on Assigned ( The password field will read as Assigned ).
4. Tap on Lost Password.
5. Tap on Yes.
Note: Once password is removed, Password field will read as Unassigned.

I had the exact problem as you, and was at my wit's end and ready to throw my Zire into the trash can, but decided to give it one last ditch effort by getting in touch with Palm tech support. Boy am I glad I did, because the solution was so easy: what you need to do is hold the power button while you do the hard reset (in the back, using a paper clip), but the key to this step is to keep your finger on the power button for a full 30 seconds. When I tried this same process before, I experienced what you are experiencing, but when I help the power button on for 30 seconds, just like the tech instructed me, it worked on the very first try. It was so easy and it fixed the problem. Give it a try!

Best would be to perform a hard reset. This will delete all your contacts, but also all your other data on your phone as well such as mail, sms, call log, settings etc.

Unscrew the tip from your stylus

Locate the "RESET" hole on the back of your Treo 600

Press and hold the power button on the top of your Treo and then press the reset button with the stylus pin

Remove the pin from the reset hole FIRST, and then release the power button.

The screen will say "erase all data?", tap the up arrow to answer yes

I love TCPMP. It plays anything I could through at it. Go to http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/ and download click the tcpmp.palmos.0.72RC1.zip link. You will also need the additional plugins. I recommend at least ffmpeg (video decoder for just about everything).
The project has been discontinued and will be rereleased as BetaPlayer, but there isn't much information about that project yet. But for now, TCPMP is the best solution on the Palm TX.

You can try to leave it for a few hours then charge it again. Or you can replace the batteries. I also have the same problem but after the reset, everything worked fine

Hello AnyMoose I am guessing that 6 years ago, when you posted your "QUESTION", you upgraded your Windows to Operating System to a newer version that is not supported. Hi, erieser, If your new ( used) Z22 has a name "missy", then it is NOT A "BLANK", as you state! You need to do a complete "factory Reset" After the COMPLETE factory reset, you then start the Z22 and name it Absolutely identical to your computer's Z22 name, and then try again to connect.
