Flywheel is jammed. How can I get it going again?

Could be it's frozen due to lack of oil and cleaning. If the machine is a mechanical, try this: It was working now it seems to be frozen the needle part wont move If it is still hung up, then there could be thread wrapped around the handwheel or a gear may be damaged. Time for repair service. ...

Undoi the foot control and you will see a small square thing called a suppressor, take it out because it has probably blown, you do not need to replace it.

Thread is gathering under cloth

Check that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder. The bobbin tension adjustment is the small screw in the plate on the bobbin case that the thread passes under as it comes off the bobbin and goes out.

I have a Thompson PW 201 machine . It will not

it sounds like to me that the timing is off, check to see how close the needle is to hitting the bobbin when it comes down through the table. that metalic clunk is probably the needle hitting the bobbin holder, OR the bobbin.. check for a bent needle also..

Needle hitting plate and breaking thread

It sound as though the needle shaft is bent. Using a plyer to gently adjust the needle shaft so the needle hits the center of the opening it's supposed to go through. Test. If it continues to hit something after going below the plate then it could very well be a timing issue. Refer to your owners manual on timing related issues.
