As i was coming back home from work, i placed my nikon d60 camera in the bag but when i reached home, i tried to turn it on but the screen failed to display even a single word, any help please

All electronic cameras have an internal battery that you cannot change. When it goes bad, the camera stops working and must be sent in for repair.

My Nikon b500 Coolpix won't turn on just flashes green

It flashes green when it is basically on but in a sub mode that I'll call CHARGE MODE. If it is flashing that means the battery is charging. I suggest to let it continue to charge until it stops flashing and then remove the charger connection. When the camera is sitting all by itself with nothing connected you can then turn it on.

I want to use my Nikon D5000 to record a movie. Normally this worked very easily once I'd hit the Lv button and it ok.now it shows me a rec with a line through it. which setting should I be changing?

If you did not change any settings it may disable video when your battery or memory is low. Movies grab lots of power and memory. They also work the chips inside the camera hard so they get warm. Please check to make sure your battery is fully charged and your memory card has lots of room.

I would like to delete a protected picture but I don't know where to find the AE-L/AF-L button on nikon D500

When viewing that photo just press the key shaped button again to unprotect it then the trashcan button to delete it. No need for the AE-L/AF-L button.

I want to download pictures from a Nikon Coolpix S8100 camera to my Lenovo Ideapad 320. I have plugged it into to the USB port and nothing appears on the laptop, although it indicated downloading.

A few thoughts: Unplug the USB cable from the computer but leave it plugged into the camera. Make sure you have the volume turned up on the laptop and plug the USB cable in. Did you hear the "baloop" sound Windows makes when a USB device is connected? If not the cable may be bad. Test it with another device if you can. If you are sure it is downloading and just can't find the photos do a Windows search for .jpg. You'll likely get lots of photos, see if any of those are from your current batch. Right click a current one and choose "properties" it will show you what folder the images are in.

Nikon Coolpix L100 how to put date on

The date imprint feature is not available in all shooting modes. These include the Museum or Panorma mode. To turn on the feature if it is off, press the Menu button and then choose the Setup Menu. (The icon is a stylized wrench.) Go to the menu item Date Imprint and set this to Date or Date and Time. Note: the date (and time) will be easier to read if the Image Mode is set to PC screen (1024). Make sure that the date and time is correct in those menu areas. This information is in the manual for the CoolPix L100 on page 101 (page 113 of the PDF). Nikon has the manual available on the product page: https://www.nikonusa.com/en/nikon-products/product-archive/compact-digital-cameras/coolpix-l100.html . The current link to the manual is https://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/coolpix/L100EN.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Nikon Coolpix S570 - Monitor freezes after pressing any button on the camera body.

The new battery may be really dead (discharged). Please leave battery out for a while and then put it back in and plug in the power plug. (Do NOT push any button on the camera) Make sure the camera CAN CHARGE the battery first. Typically one Green LED lights up and another one flashes. If it does this then WAIT until the battery is fully charged.

How to transfer photo from view nx2 to iphone 5

You can export photos on view nx2 to computer first. And then transfer photos from computer to iPhone with iTunes/iCloud or other tools. As for transferring photos from computer to iPhone, you can follow the below steps. Using iTunes to sync photos with iPhone is also easy. As a media management center, iTunes helps you easily manage data and files (purchased and non-purchased) on your iOS devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod). You could easily sync data and files to iPhone with iTunes. But you should be very careful of the syncing function of iTunes because it is a double-edge sword. Once wrong click, you may lose data in your iPhone. You'd better back up your iPhone to iTunes before you try to sync photos to iPhone with iTunes. The following steps are going to show you how to transfer photos from PC to iPhone with iTunes: 1. Plug your iPhone into computer via the USB cable. Launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically. Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes. 2. Click on the device icon in iTunes. 3. In the sidebar on the left side of the iTunes window, click Photos tab under your iPhone. 4. Click the box next to "Sync Photos". If instead you see "iCloud Photos is On", all of your photos and videos are already on all of your devices that use iCloud Photos. You don't need to sync them through iTunes. 5. Choose the app or folder that you want to sync from. If you choose to sync a folder with sub-folders, the first level of sub-folders will appear as albums on your device. 6. Choose to sync all photos and albums or selected albums. 7. Select "Include videos" to sync the videos from your app or folder too. 8. At last, click the "Apply" button. For more methods, check: How to Transfer Photos from PC to iPhone

The screen on my Coolpix 500 looks like a chemical was poured on it. It is not scratched, what can I do

Is it the screen, or the screen protector ? If the latter, just remove it and replace it. If it is the actual screen, first of all try a lint-free cloth barely dampened with distilled water, and test it on a corner, see if that works. On no account get the camera wet. If that is unsuccessful, try adding a very little diluted washing-up liquid, and try again. Should that not succeed, I would advise taking the camera to your local repair facility for their expert advice.

I have Nikon D60. The monitor will not display

The D60 works as SLRs have worked for half a century, using the viewfinder to compose photos. Only recent dSLRs provide the Live View capability, allowing you to use the monitor for that purpose. Nikon introduced this feature with the D3 and the D300. Currently, the least-expensive Nikon with this feature is the D5000.

My Nikon Coolpix P80 will not switch on, that is the Lens will not come out and I get a Lens error message asking me to remove lens, switch off and switch on again.

The lens control mechanism has sustained damage, and requires servicing by a qualified artificer.
