Problems with Android OS Marshmallow. Home key does nothing, quick toggle screen won't scroll down above the notification tray, lock screen doesn't appear at any point.

If you get random errors or unstable system after an update, it's best to do a three button reset from android recovery menu. Wipe cache and delvac partitions and you should be good to go.

WARNING: this will erase all your data.

Google on how to do a reset from the android recovery for your particular model.

Need to find my remaining minutes

To find your remaining minutes, it does not depend on the android phone, but your carrier. There is a three or four digit code which you call and it will tell you how many calls, minutes or data you have left. You can find out your number by typing into google _carrier ( e.g. ee, vodafone) number to check credit, or just ask your carriers customer services.

Motorola has the User's Guide for the Moto E on the product support page: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/product_page/faqs/p/30,6720,9146 . Look on the right side of the page.
