F01 error refers to failed circuit board/ electronic control board and replacing it is recommended repair. You can try to take it apart and then blow some compressed air on this electronic board, if the problem returns then the board needs replacement. There are a couple of switches (more in some ovens) that are operated by the door latches to keep you from running the oven with the door open. I'd suspect the one called the secondary interlock isn't operating properly. It may have gotten knocked out out alignment or been damaged if the door was slammed, or simply have broken down. These switches are replaceable, but microwave oven repair should be left to professionals. Lethal voltages are exposed with the cover removed, and there's a possibility of excessive microwave leakage if the repairs aren't done properly. Be safe and let a pro give an estimate for the repair. It would be worth it to fix this oven.

The magnetron (the part that heats the food) may be bad or the circuitry to the magnetron may have burned out. Basically my advice is that if you have no electrical expertise, it isn't worth fixing. The magnetron if bad, costs almost as much as a new microwave. If you open it up (make sure it has been unplugged for a few hours and don't seen any obvious burnt parts (including a fuse and the diodes), then most likely the magnetron is done and a new microwave is the way to go.

Their is a live wire which contact to the metal body so it contact to the earth cable. This can be by a loose wire, a burn heating element or a burn motor. All the above can lead to direct contact of alive cable mean power cable to earth so the house fuse which is the earth protector is driping off.
Your oven definiatly need to be open and check by and electrician.

Thanks for using FixYa. As you have already tried to reset it and the fuse is also not the problem, then please check the door hooks and the door-release button. When any one of these is broken, the door switch doesn't activate and the microwave oven will not work. Replace whichever is required.

you will probably find that the fuse blowing is due to door switch adjustments, most unit have 3 switches 2 on the door catches and one that is crowbar protection. the 2 door catch switches are normally closed with the door open and the crowbar is the opposite. if they do not change at the correct time when closing nthe door the fuse blows

Ask them, they can get you many Miele schematics.
