Miele Microwave Ovens - Page 3 - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
My miele gas cooktop has
Pipe cleaners work very well for cleaning stove top igniters. Do not use
any type of liquid cleaner, sandpaper, etc. in them.
Often times moisture collects on the sparker
switches located on the gas valves. These are under the stoves top cover. They
should have clear plastic covers on them but may not based on the stoves are.
To dry the moisture out of the switches, unplug
the stove first. Then remove the knobs and lift the cover. Remove those clear
plastic covers if equipped. Use a hairdryer to blow warm air onto the switches
to warm them up and dry them out.
Be sure the electrical cord is plugged directly
into a 3 wire grounded wall receptacle. The cord must not plugged into a two
wire extension cord.
appliance must be grounded thru the original cord.

Buttons work hardly on my Miele M625EG
I have the same problem with my M625EG-ed from about the same period. My repairman said that it would be at least 300 € for a new unit. I opened it myself and cleaned the keypad with alcohol or aceton. It's not working perfect afterwards but it is better.
There's a fuse you have to take out when opening. Otherwise you can have problems with electricity (be carefull). The fuse I had, broke down and I had to buy a new one for 20 eurocents. Also watch out with the parts where the door closes. I had some problems with that too and now (after a few months), I had to buy a new connector part on the door (its the part of the door that closes the door and gives connection for the lights). This costed 12-13 € but I'm trying to install it now.
