This is a pretty simple thermostat. To manually turn on the furness just flip down the lower trim cover (exposing the function keys). Look to the right end at "System" and select heat. Afterwards you will then depress the red arrow key (next to the digital display). Enter the heat in which you want the room to warm up to. This setting will be temporary and may change back to the programmed setting depending on how yours was setup. Any other questions please write back.

Please know MANY micro USB cables are simply DON'T have enough copper conductors inside each wire and often devices using these poor cables actually STARVE for voltage OR NEVER fully charge! I try to find aby info about that model but nothing IA available. I can give couple pointers. Check the unit for hidden screws for example hidden under speaker grille elc. If no screws are be send it would indicate that housing snaps togethe. To open that you will need few tools to pry open housing. Those are special plastic tools to prevent from scratching which is common while using precision screwdrivers.

clean contacts of both parts with isopropyl alcohol and use compressed air to blow any debris out in case its greasy or dirty.

Is this on the device that you listed? What operating system? How are you connecting it to the computer?

Check that there is enough charge to keep it on.
