Oven is showing f2 what is happening
Hi Nancy:Error Code F2 indicates
a loose or broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced.Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.Hope this helps; thank you for using Fixya. Keep in mind that your feedback is important, leave us some testimonial comment.

Magic chef oven with uniburners oven will not
Hello,
Since the bake burner does glow yet no flame that means that the igniter is weak and should replaced...the way the igniter works is that it comes on and get very hot where upon getting hot it draws a certain amount of amperage which will allow the gas valve to open resulting in a flame. The igniter is indeed coming on yet its not getting hot enough to draw the proper amp drqaw to open the gas valve...by replacing it with a new fresh igniter it will draw the correct amprage and let the gas flow.

I have a magic chef electric wall oven and it
The F3 code means that the temperature sensor in the oven is not giving the signal to the oven control. This could be the result of a problem with the wiring or the wire harness between the control board and the sensor or indicate that the sensor itself has failed.
To identify the correct parts, you need to provide your oven model number. Try here:
http://www.partselect.com/Magic-Chef-Parts.htm . There are other sources for parts.
I hope this helps. If you add a comment with the model number, I'll be glad to give you more specific information for your wall oven.

I have a magic chef ovan/mic unit, when I press
even though the ignitor glows it doesn't mean it's good it opens the gas valve by amps not just because it glows,if you turn on the stove and when you see it glow if the flame doesn't ignite within 40 to 50 seconds you have a bad ignitor.if you leave it alone for a few minutes does the flame ignite?the only other thing it could be is a bad gas valve but most likely it will be the ignitor
I started the self cleaning
if the door is unlocked then clean all the grease and let go, if the oven is still locked then get a tech down to your house to have it unlocked since its not safe to have it run again with greaase
I've got an amana gas
What you want to check or have checked is if the wiring on the new igniter was accidently not properly insulated and some or the wiring is bare and touching metel shorting the breaker each time the oven is turned on.
Black smoke covering everything in
