Oven will not release gas to be ignited
Hi,
Most likely the ignitor is too weak to open the safety valve for gas to be released, remove the ignitor and take it to your local appliance parts store, this can be tested on the counter. (Danger, fragile and easy to break, don't touch the element with you hands) Failure to treat with care will cause the ignitor to break, unplug the unit from the wall prior to removing the ignitor from the unit. Ignitor should have a amp reading of 3.2-3.6 to work effectively, if less it needs to be replaced.

I am sure you will just have to replace the oven igniter (glow bar) These will crack and not let any power through the oven valve.
My magic chef oven will
If it has a timer, make sure it is set to manual,and not flashing auto.
In the auto mode the oven will not work.
